I laughed, snorting as I thought of the fall that we had had. It was sad that it was sort of a mood breaker, in that sex is completely off the table. For me at least, she's all tuckered out.

But well, I smile, it's all really quite funny to me.

And even then, if it isn't as amusing as I thought it was. Well, the more that I think of the moment, the tightly writhing bodies, and her breath. Oh that breath. That look. The more I giggle. The more I feel a proud echo in my chest.

I giggle. Watching the moon evermore. Watching and watching. Until the world fades into darkness. Until my eyes droop with a lack of energy. And until our arms cuddle the other. Basking in the others warmth.

My silence comes abruptly.

And so too does my sleep.

The sun shines. Bringing with it the dawn of a new, brighter day. So too comes the morning routine, responsibilities that must be taken care of along with tasks to be done.
