The stars shone over the horizon, the day that had so suddenly ended with boredom and nothing more, that too had ended, with a push of my lips.

Only now did I realize what I had done, what had happened. As a tail flit passed my nose and tickled it, it elicited a small laugh from me. I looked down to the brilliant white tail, to the ears and hair that matched it.

I found myself wary, of her intentions, of her presence. Why, when we had searched for her for so long, only revealed herself now. And why with such intentions.

I know I was cute, supremely so if I said so myself. But what drew her to me so, was it that we were the last of our species, a guess by the scarcity and her being the only other mention I could find, or was it purely lust.
