Inari pov
...
The slow plops of slimes woke me from my short rest. There was some movement at my side, a little moonlight that illuminated the small slime - my first - trying to make his way through the door.
A small smile plays on my lips.
I shoo him out with small movements of my wrist.
But then... and with the urgency like nothing else, the door is slammed in. A blank faced girl comes in. Her form is small and quiet, petite in a way that only a young girl can have.
And I scowl.
There was this drop of hostility that none of my summons could have, and this other worldly feel that none of my citizens - that I know of - has either.
And so, my scowl deepens.
She skips over. Ignoring the mess of clothes around the room and delivering to me a letter. A small thing written in neat handwriting.
To the silver fox.
It read.
