Mielle glared with ire at Andre. "Why are you going to allow a duel between these young boys, no less with swords?"

A small chuckle escaped Andre's lips as he listened to Mielle's worried words. "It will not be actual swords. They will only use wooden training swords."

"There is no way I would let Tobias lose with a live sword. He would shred that lout to pieces with one blow."

"Now I have a question for you, Honey!" Andre said, his expression holding a look of curiousness. "Care to explain why you were hugging and kissing my squire?"

"And why are your eyes red?" Andre grasped Mielle's chin between his thumb and forefinger, angling her face where he could get a better view of her eyes. "Who made you cry?"

Mielle held up her hands and shook her head. "Slow down with the interrogation. I am fine… and it's not who made me cry, but what?"

"Okay then, go on and explain," Andre prompted. "What made my sweet girl so sad that she shed tears?"
