THIRD DEGREE - PART 7

Dawn's light had not even reached the ground, and Andre found himself back in the suffocating stench of the dungeon. He stood next to Kellem, who was sweating buckets even though the place felt below freezing. 

It wasn't long before Andre heard the commander and the others following him. Sir Merrick and Sir Carter appeared on the stairs, just behind the Duke, as they came into Andre's view. 

Sterling was the first to speak. "Good Morning, cook's assistant, Kellem. Did you sleep well last night?" he asked. 

Kellem shrugged his shoulders at the Duke and replied. "As good as can be expected for a condemned man."

"Then shall we begin the interrogation?" Sterling asked. 

Kellem nodded, staring around the room at them, watching them. 

"Last night after reading the letter you were about to send to King Minbury, I noticed it was almost word for word what was discussed in the secret council meeting."
