The King’s Confusion (2)

He was so much hopeful, but it was a dead end after all.

He had to accept that some stories will never be revealed.

The king's head trembled in pain, and he rubbed his eyes tiredly. He automatically reached for wine, only to find the bottle already empty.

Sir Dewitt's heart was heavy as he looked at the man drowning in disappointment. He knew the monarch's health best and he always kept the queen's words in mind to take care of her husband when she was away. However, no matter what your doctor and loved ones say, sometimes you need to loosen up to soothe your nerves.

And the monarch needs some comfort right now.

The secretary reluctantly brought out another bottle and poured him a glass.

"Your Majesty, if you tell me what you are looking for, I might be more helpful than now…"

The king took the wine and sipped it before he started talking.
