Chapter 537: The Explosive First Meeting of the Variant Dragons

Main Timeline, Heroes' Domain, Dragon Court.

After a short rest, the silver dragon suddenly opened his eyes, his platinum-colored pupils deep and bright.

In one of the material worlds, the Lord of Terror split the heavens and earth with a roar in a near-shattered world: "Io, fight me for another hundred million years! I will trample on your head and make you my steed!"

With the Lord of Terror's bellowing, the Primeval Gods began their large-scale descent.

The fourth phase of the Dawn War had commenced.

Garon spread his wings, the wings of time glowing gently.

In a flash of silver light, the figure of the silver dragon disappeared from his lair and reappeared outside the Eternal Hall of Heroes.

The Dragon Court remained as vast and boundless as ever, with flowing winds and drifting clouds filling every inch of space. Several large suns hung in the sky, shining brightly. Numerous buildings favored by true dragons floated in the air, with countless dragons moving about, their combined dragon auras creating a palpable presence.

Garon took a deep breath, his expression becoming serious.

Then, focusing on the center of the Dragon Court, under the reverent gazes of many dragons, the silver dragon's wings of time extended. Closing his eyes, he radiated waves of time power like a tsunami.

Past, present, and future began to blur around Garon.

Some clouds paused in the air, some reversed their flow, while others sped up.

Just looking at Garon from a distance caused many dragons to feel dizzy due to the distortion of time, but they still tried their best to see what the great Dragon of Eternity and Time was doing.

Simultaneously.

In the Pantheon, the incarnations of the gods sensed the anomaly, their gazes falling on the majestic silver dragon.

"What is this little one up to?"

The Nine-faced Dragon God's avatar watched with anticipation.

The Dragon God had high hopes for Garon, expecting him to reach heights that even he couldn't attain.

At that moment, under countless watchful eyes, the silver dragon's eyes suddenly opened, and time power burst forth like a tidal wave, continuously flowing into the river of time. Black-scaled rings seemed to glow faintly on the silver dragon's body, and the wheels on his wings began to turn.

"Gate of Infinite Dimensions, open!"

Buzzing echoes resonated.

In the river of time, ripples surged into waves as vortexes formed around the silver dragon.

In an instant.

In the boundless alternate dimensions.

The Black Emperor, perched atop his imperial court's highest peak, surveyed his empire. His body, covered in dense, kingly dragon scales, now appeared even more formidable, with his normal form exceeding a hundred meters.

His iron-like scales, interlaced with fine spikes and barbs, and his muscular frame seemed poised to burst from his scales, exuding an unparalleled sense of strength, as if he could crush mountains with a single movement.

The Black Emperor was in a light slumber.

Suddenly, his dark eyes opened wide.

Without any warning, a vortex connecting to another dimension appeared before him.

"Black Dragon Caesar, it's time to repay the favor and fight for me."

The deep, familiar voice echoed in his mind, as suddenly as it had before.

The Black Dragon's gaze flickered, his massive form lying on his throne.

After a moment of contemplation, he chose to rise and step into the gate of time.

The old debt owed was still remembered by the Black Dragon.

Although he was domineering and dictatorial, he also valued gratitude and grudges clearly.

Moreover, even at his current demigod level, he still couldn't fathom the mysterious dragon's life tier, unable to perceive how Garon had opened a temporal portal beside him.

In a glacial expanse.

A white dragon, seemingly mad, played with dice and rolled in the snow, caring little for the dignity of a demigod being.

Despite being a white dragon and only a demigod, his dragon aura was so intense it was almost comparable to that of a dragon god.

"Hey, hey, hey, I'm already a demigod. Why hasn't the Time Dragon come to find me yet?"

"So boring, I want to go to other dimensions and play."

Just then, a portal of space and time opened before him.

"White Dragon Baihe, it's time to repay the favor and fight for me."

The familiar, divine voice echoed in his ears.

"Why did you take so long? I've been waiting forever. Boohoo, I thought I'd been forgotten. So sad."

As he spoke, Baihe launched himself into the portal with a peculiar lunge, showing no hesitation.

This white dragon was thrilled at the prospect of fighting the Primeval Gods in another dimension and meeting variant dragons from other realms. He had eagerly agreed to Garon's proposition, even clinging to Garon's tail, begging to be taken along immediately. When Garon refused, he put on a dramatic display of crying and wailing, his behavior erratic and unpredictable.

In the sky-high floating fortress.

Upon hearing the unforgettable voice, the winter dragon emanating a bright elemental glow put down the magical device he was studying and turned around.

In his vision, a strange vortex was reflected.

[Name]: ???

[Description]: ???

As always, he couldn't see any information.

White Dragon Amos's eyes gleamed with the same intense curiosity that many spellcasters had when exploring the unknown.

"Still so mysterious. What kind of realm do you come from?"

The white dragon stepped into the portal of time.

Under the bright sunlight, in a lush forest, a gold dragon with dark golden scales and a restrained aura basked in the sun. His brows furrowed occasionally, as if he were having a bad dream.

Suddenly, the gold dragon was startled awake by a voice in his mind.

Seeing the portal of time open before him, he smiled and, with eager eyes, stepped into it.

For Garon, this gold dragon was the easiest to please.

His request was simple and singular: to be taken to Garon's timeline, where dragons reigned supreme, and the dragon gods led the pantheon. He wanted to settle there and was willing to fight for the dragon race.

In his timeline, all the dragon gods had perished, and dragons had become little more than a distant, almost mythic memory, with nothing to keep him.

The tragic state of dragons in that timeline served as a reminder to Garon.

Not every timeline allowed dragons to achieve dominance or even remain at the top of the food chain. In some timelines, the dragon's status was dire.

As time passed.

From various timelines, numerous extraordinary demigod variant dragons stepped through the portals, each filled with anticipation, vigilance, apprehension, and other emotions.

Main Timeline, Dragon Court.

Under the astonished gazes of the assembled dragons, a terrifyingly robust black dragon, seemingly armored in layers of steel, appeared, emanating the aura of a demigod. From his fierce and powerful head to his strong and muscular body to his spiked tail, he arrived in the Dragon Court.

"Is this a black dragon? You must be joking."

"What kind of monster is this?"

In the Dragon Court, a skeletal ancient black dragon, its scales clinging tightly to its bones, stared in disbelief at the Black Emperor. The emaciated dragon's face was full of shock and denial.

He glanced at the Black Emperor's formidable figure and then at his own pitiful form, shaking his head in disbelief.

The arrival of the Black Emperor was just the beginning.

One after another, variant dragons that left the dragons of the Dragon Court in awe emerged from the time portals, appearing before their eyes.

A black dragon as strong as steel, a red dragon exuding hellish energy, a plutonium dragon covered in gold wires and radiating a destructive aura, a white dragon whose magic was far beyond that of ordinary demigods, a blue dragon with scales crackling with lightning, and a green dragon with an emerald-like body full of natural essence and deep eyes.

Each variant dragon was unique, possessing a distinctive power.

Even ancient demigod-level true dragons watched these variant dragons with wariness and a deep-seated fear.

"These variant dragons have never been heard of in the multiverse."

"Such power, they should not be unknown."

"Could it be that they were brought from other dimensions by the great Lord of the Dragon Court?"

Some of the dragons in the Dragon Court made the correct guess.

At this moment.

Surrounded by variant dragons, the silver dragon exuded a layered and solid dragon aura.

Upon their arrival, they first surveyed their surroundings. Seeing so many legendary true dragons and even demigod dragons in the Dragon Court, their pupils contracted slightly, their hearts pounding.

Then, they were even more astonished to see the other variant dragons that had arrived with them.

Black Emperor Caesar's eyes deepened as he looked at Red Dragon Claudius.

Red Dragon Claudius stared back at Black Dragon Caesar, the two observing each other.

These two dragons, both extremely strong and similarly built, seemed like black and red siblings at first glance.

"Wow, you're so strong. Can I squeeze your muscles?"

Baihe ran over to the Black Emperor, reaching out to poke his back.

"Stay away from me, white dragon."

The Black Emperor's voice rumbled like thunder.

"Oh, come on, don't be so angry. I just want to touch you."

Instantly, the Black Emperor's gaze turned dangerous.

At the same time, Radiant Sun Red Dragon Jose looked at Plutonium Dragon Ceylon, his eyes alight with a desire to test himself against the terrifying radiation energy within Ceylon.

White Dragon Amos's gaze met that of Silver Dragon Levis.

The Hellfire Empress,

with a devil sealed in her heart, gave Gold Dragon Lesatos a hostile look.

Within minutes of gathering in the Dragon Court, the air grew tense with hostility, almost ready to erupt into a chaotic battle among the variant dragons.

At the demigod level, these variant dragons had developed mature and stable minds, marking their growth.

They were either iron-fisted monarchs of empires or dominant figures in their material worlds, now gathered together, their pride clashing, threatening to spark conflicts.

Seeing Baihe's mischievous attempts to touch him, the Black Emperor prepared to strike.

In such a situation, a higher authority was often needed to maintain order.

Thus.

Just as the tension reached a breaking point.

Centered around Garon, time suddenly stopped, and the wind and clouds froze in place.

Each variant dragon became a lifelike statue, able to think but unable to move a muscle, as if their souls were separated from their bodies.

In the material world, even Garon might not have been able to simultaneously freeze so many talented variant dragons, given their current demigod status.

However, in the Dragon Court, an outer plane, mid-level divine power dealing with demigods was a dimensionally reduced strike. With a single thought, Garon could subdue them all.

The silver dragon's expression remained calm as he surveyed the variant dragons.

"Everyone, I know you each possess exceptional skills and strengths surpassing those of dragons."

"However, in my domain, without my permission, do not turn your aggression towards your kin."

"There will be ample stage and formidable enemies for you to showcase your prowess."

Garon spoke calmly.

His words were mild but carried undeniable authority.

Then, Garon released the time stop.

The variant dragons' eyes flickered as the tense atmosphere gradually dissipated.

"Hey, Red Dragon big brother, the petty Black Dragon won't let me touch him. Can I touch you instead?"

Baihe zipped over to Claudius, batting his eyes innocently.

"Sure, feel my robust muscles."

The Red Dragon laughed, standing up on his hind legs and flexing a muscular arm covered in scales.

"You're generous, unlike that lowly black-scaled dragon. No sense of scale."

Baihe stroked the Red Dragon's powerful arm, even swinging like a pendulum due to his smaller size.

However, as a white dragon, calling a black dragon a lower breed was essentially insulting himself even more. Yet, Baihe didn't seem to care about demeaning himself in the process.

The Black Emperor frowned slightly, realizing Baihe's mind seemed unstable, and chose not to argue with a lunatic, letting it slide without further reaction.

The other variant dragons refrained from speaking much, mainly observing the situation. Only the white dragon seemed overly exuberant.

Garon looked at Baihe and, with a gesture, sealed him in a time amber, leaving only his head free.

"Ah, this is unfair! Why only seal me?"

"Boohoo, you're bullying dragons because you're powerful. I'm going to cry."

Baihe shook his head and even managed to squeeze out a few tears.

Garon, with a thought, sealed Baihe's mouth as well.

Among the variant dragons, Baihe was the most unpredictable, his thoughts more erratic than some chaotic demons. Without using the Eyes of Time, Garon couldn't predict his next move.

To prevent Baihe from creating further chaos, Garon temporarily restrained him.

Simultaneously.

Streaks of divine light shot from the Pantheon, landing near Garon and the variant dragons, then coalesced into the avatars of the dragon gods.

The dragon gods looked curiously at the variant dragons.

When Black Dragon Caesar and Red Dragon Claudius saw the Immortal Dragon Queen's avatar, they immediately tensed, their fangs bared instinctively.

"Oh?"

"Two little dragonlings, it seems in your dimension, I am your enemy."

The Immortal Dragon Queen mused.

Upon hearing this, the two variant dragons exchanged glances, surprised to see that each had also been daring enough to challenge the malevolent Dragon Queen before reaching divine status.

"Never mind, I am not a petty dragon. Leave the interdimensional grudges to the versions of me in your worlds. Just don't disturb me."

The Immortal Dragon Queen turned her gaze, along with the Metallic Dragon God's avatar, to Baihe.

At the same time, the Nine-faced Dragon God's avatar also watched the erratic white dragon, frowning slightly.

This white dragon's bloodline was the Dragon God's bloodline, very similar to that of Bahamut and Tiamat.

"My bloodline… such a high concentration of Dragon God blood, almost equivalent to Bahamut and Tiamat."

"However, I don't recall having a descendant like you."

"…Oh, it's almost infinite in its ancestral refinement. And you can bear it. Impressive."

The Dragon God's avatar smiled.

Under the Nine-faced Dragon God's gaze, the usually erratic white dragon became unusually calm, refraining from speaking further nonsense.

Meanwhile, Gold Dragon Lesatos gazed at the dragon gods' avatars with an expression close to joyous tears.

"What's wrong, my child?"

The Metallic Dragon God asked, noticing the gold dragon's reaction.

"Seeing the dragon gods, I'm overwhelmed with excitement. Please forgive me."

With that, the Gold Dragon Lesatos slowly composed himself, hiding his joy.

Seeing so many true dragons and dragon gods, this gold dragon, who had lost his kin and the protection of dragon gods, was determined to stay in this timeline until death.

The Immortal Dragon Queen then glanced at the Hellfire Empress, the female red dragon, and upon sensing her aura, showed a surprised expression.

"Sealed in your heart is… Archduke Bael of Avernus. Impressive."

"Tell me your name, my exceptional red dragon."

"Renata," the female red dragon replied truthfully.

Then, the dragon god avatars engaged in brief conversations with the variant dragons, recognizing their exceptional talents and extraordinary nature, each worthy of attention.

Garon also explained his reason for summoning them.

"If they can truly fight against the Primeval Gods in the material world as you say."

"Then, having such a new force will be enough to secure victory in this fourth phase of the Dawn War and bring about the destruction of those damned Primeval Gods!"

The Destroyer Dragon God's avatar exclaimed excitedly.

"Garon, these variant dragons are your summoning from across dimensions."

"Their activities in our world will be managed by you."

The Nine-faced Dragon God said.

Then, the dragon god avatars returned to the Pantheon.

"Do I only need to kill ten demigods to leave?"

A Blue Diamond Dragon with luxurious blue scales, whose exterior was beautifully stunning, asked.

"Of course."

"However, more precisely, they are the Primeval Gods, suppressed to demigod-level strength in the material world."

Garon explained.

Hearing this, the variant dragons grew serious.

Having witnessed much in their own dimensions, they had heard of the Primeval Gods, as they were part of the larger multiverse's lore.

Indeed, with such generous rewards, the cost was bound to be significant.

The Primeval Gods were not ordinary demigods.

"What's the matter, are you all afraid?"

"I know you are all unparalleled in your realms. Are you losing your nerve just because your opponents are Primeval Gods?"

"I have great expectations for you and do not doubt your abilities."

"Moreover, don't you want to find out who among the multiverse's variant dragons is the strongest?"

Garon smiled slightly.

Red Dragon Claudius raised his head, his eyes sweeping over the other variant dragons disdainfully. "Ten? I'll kill twenty for you."

Looking at the different expressions on the variant dragons' faces, Garon said, "Once you kill ten, you are free to return to your dimensions. Alternatively, if you wish to stay, every additional Primeval God you kill will earn you rich rewards."

"Even deification is within reach."

Hearing this, the variant dragons grew more expectant.

"Where are the enemies? Let's get started."

"I also want to know how powerful these Primeval Gods truly are."

The Eternal Blue Dragon, whose scales sparked with electricity, spoke in a deep voice.

Garon looked at the variant dragons and said, "I can see the fighting spirit burning in your eyes."

"I will lead you to the material world. From then on, it's up to you."

"Go, and let the ancient Primeval Gods witness the might of true dragons, far stronger than they!"

With a thought, Garon wrapped the variant dragons in time power and transported them to the material world, where the Primeval Gods were rampaging.
