Learning the two Chain Racial Quests, he decided that he would pursue the Dhampir race.
It could act as a bridge for him to attain the human race, and moments after, he logged out once again as he has at least an hour or so in the real world before sunrise came in the game world where he would need to continue his journey.
Upon logging out, Blake went straight to grab his phone and went to his bedroom.
Checking Angel's contact number on his phone, Blake jumped and prone on the bed with a slight smile on his face, pushing his legs back and forth as he thought of an appropriate message to send to her.
'No, I'm moving too fast. I can't send her that, she might be uncomfortable if I sent that'
'This should be the one right? I think so, wait- no, maybe I should change it?'
Not wanting to think too much about this as the text message would be too stiff if he did, Blake type a message before he send her without thinking twice. But instantly after, a jolt of nervousness enveloped his entire body.
Even his feet were feeling ticklish, the feeling is so unfamiliar to him.
'Whatever, I'll just calm my head down with a quick shower before going back to the game again. I need to learn more about the game world and also finish the Persona Quest. Just like what Salana said, I need to take this seriously' Blake thought before he stands up and went to the bathroom.
Since his mind is full of thoughts about Angel, he needed to cool down with a shower.
Upon entering the bathroom, he glanced at the mirror on the wall before he walked past it and heads to the shower. Blake grabbed the doorknob before he suddenly stopped, "Eh...? Did I see it right?" he uttered to himself.
A little bit scared, Blake takes a couple of steps back and stands in front of the mirror.
"What the fuck?!"
It was then, he exclaimed in utter horror.
Blake was surprised by his own reflection, he even tripped and fell to the ground. Despite his stinging bottom, he quickly stands back up again and looks at the mirror with wide eyes, trying to see if he's hallucinating or not.
Now that he believed what Salana said, he expected there were some changes to his body.
Similar to his avatar, he expected his skin to turn paler, his body becomes taller and more muscular, and also his eyes would be somewhat glowing. But he has never thought that he would actually have no reflection in the mirror.
Reaching out his hand to the mirror, he gasped as he didn't have any reflection at all.
Thinking calmly, Blake frowns as he suspected that this must be caused by the Specter anatomy. Essentially, the Specter race is a ghost-type race, a malicious one and this reflection-less trait is definitely caused by it.
'I really need to be careful when walking outside...' Blake thought with a wry smile.
Despite the absurdity of the situation, he didn't worry too much.
Although it's true that it would be quite bothersome to avoid mirrors while he's outside even when he gets to go on a date with Angel in the future, he didn't mind it as much as this is a temporary problem for him.
Others in his situation would find this a permanent bother, but not him.
If he completed the Dhampir Chain Racial Quest, then this problem would go away and he would be free as a bird. But until then, he needs to lay low, or else people would notice his reflection-less trait and be terrified.
'But it's weird, I could see my reflection in the Lunaris game world. Why is it different here?
Pondering for a moment, he decided to not think about it.
Without a reflection, there was nothing to inspect, so he goes on ahead and takes a shower.

Meanwhile, somewhere inside a luxurious apartment.
The tall door towards the bathroom opens, and a slight steam came out due to the hot water before a gorgeous woman walks out. Her body and hair are wrapped in a towel, and she has striking curves that of a model with pearly ivory grey eyes.
A fragrant womanly scent instantly filled the room as she walks out of the bathroom.
But as she was about to head over to the cabinet to put on a night robe before sleeping, her eyes landed on a desk beside her queen-size bed. She saw her phone's screen light up as a notification appeared.
Striding towards the desk, she grabbed her phone and sat on the edge of the bed.
While there were still droplets of hot water drizzling down her exquisite smooth neck, she looks at the notification on her phone before a gleaming smile appeared on her face when she finds the text she was waiting for has arrived.
Her eyes lit up excitedly realizing the person who was texting her in the middle of the night.
The woman, Angel slightly pouted despite her relief, "Took him long enough to contact me" She said, but she quickly hummed in a good mood and write a text to reply, "Hmmm~ I thought he wasn't going to text me ever, I was already planning on meeting with him again if he never texted. But it seems there was no need"
But as she was typing, her mind wandered back to the scene she saw at the park earlier.
It was the scene that piqued Angel's interest greatly.
"With a move like that, he must be strong in the game. I'll look forward to meeting with him~"
~
Similarly, when Blake walks out of the shower, his eyes instantly hover over his phone.
Grabbing his phone to check whether Angel has replied to his text yet, his eyes completely widened when he saw a single notification, and it comes from the person that he was exactly waiting for.
Out of her text, Blake's eyes were fixated on the end of the text.
Blake rubs his eyes several times to see whether he was dreaming or not, he saw that there's a red love emoji at the end of the text which feels surreal to him. When he looks up, the red heart emoji is still there, and his heart skipped a beat.
'Dude, this can't be real...'
A couple of hours later, Blake is inside the game again.
Coursing through the rest of the way smoothly without any hiccups, Blake alongside Tara and Linthia arrived at the end of the forest and was exposed to the view beyond the forest, it was breathtaking.
Blake saw a city built on a hill at the end of his view, gleaming with the morning sun.
On top of that, he could also see a couple of magical skyscrapers that jutted from the city and pointed to heaven. It was not what he had expected, he was expecting a regular fantasy town or city.
Usually, the city and town in games would have the same template.
A circle-shaped city surrounded by a robust city wall, houses made of bricks, and also plaza and guild halls that can be used by players. But the actual city in front of him shows that he was way off with his guess.
"That is Carymount City, one of the largest cities of the Narva Empire" Linthia introduced.
Seeing that Blake's jaw almost hangs down to the ground, she feels that it's appropriate to inform him about the city. She even giggled in amusement seeing that someone like Blake who was very strong can still be easily awed by this kind of sight.
It was almost as if he was not from this world. But she could judge, she don't know him.
Blake could only turn his face and smile wryly.
"Is it that obvious that I haven't been here before?"
"Yes, quite obvious. It's not hard to see since your jaw almost hits the floor"
Upon hearing this he could only scratch the back of his head in embarrassment, this is the first city that he has ever seen in the Lunaris game world, so it's natural for him to be this surprised especially considering the city looks this majestic.
Approaching the city, the three eventually find a paved road leading to the gate.
Nearing the gate, there are a couple of wagons lining up outside.
Instead of queueing behind the wagons that are pretty stacked, there's a separate lane for individuals that wanted to get inside the city. Similarly, there was a queue, but it was not as bad and the three waited for their turn.
While waiting patiently, he gazes up to look at the guards on the wall.
Due to the sun being directly above them, their bodies turned into silhouettes, yet Blake can see their information tab, 'Deal lord, the weakest one is level 20, and there are a couple guards that are in level forties who are watching around cautiously'
Shifting his eyes back to the front, Blake looks at the guy queuing in front of him.
Tapping on his shoulder lightly, the guy glanced at him with raised eyebrows before he then asked, "Is it always this strict here? Why is that guard looking at us very sharply, I feel like his eyes could kill me"
Glancing over to the guard that Blake is talking about, the guy smiled in realization.
"Didn't you see the moon incident yesterday? Something changed after that. Some people went mad and started attacking everybody inside the city. Because of that, the city is quite alert, wary of the same thing happening" the guy explained.
Blake nodded his head repeatedly, he already knew what the guy meant.
'Must be similar to that giant bear I killed yesterday, the First Act must've been the thing that causes these corruptions' He thought with a nod, there was no other thing that could explain the corruption aside from that.
After waiting for about fifteen minutes, it was finally their turn.
"Show your identification" the guard said.
Upon hearing this, Blake frown as he doesn't have any identification. But then, Tara stepped forward and replied, "We're here to visit, can you give us the visitor treatment?" she puts on a polite smile.
Compared to last night, her complexion has turned rosy again, she's clearly getting better.
Pausing to look at the three for a brief second, the guard then reaches out his hand, "Since the incident yesterday, the city has taken more risk in accepting visitors so the price went up. 1 gold coin per person"
"Yes, we'll pay" Tara replied before handing over 3 gold coins.
Tara wouldn't be shameless enough to let Blake pay when he was the one escorting them.
Because of his help, the three were able to avoid ferocious beasts as well as protect them from the assassins, keeping them safe until they reached the city. Linthia told her about it earlier, and Tara was also surprised by it.
At the very least, she should pay.
Of course, Blake is not that stingy as to want to be paid.
However, since Tara offered to pay, then he wouldn't decline. The short journey he has with them is quite bountiful already, he has gotten considerably stronger thanks to escorting the two of them, so in truth, he didn't mind if he needs to pay for himself.
Without them, then he would've had a hard time finding more mobs and leveling up.
It was then, the guard let them through after the three of them were stamped with some sort of magical entry permit on the back of their hands. Reaching the center, Blake is the first one to speak up, "Well, I've done my job to escort you here. We'll part way here"
[Quest - Escorting has been completed!]
[Player MoonDespoiler has obtained 50,000 Exp and 200 Infernal Veiled Assassin Guild reputation]
[Level up!]
Upon hearing this, Linthia wanted to say something but she dissuade from saying it.
Instead, she smiled and asked, "How will we get in touch with you for your payment? We couldn't pay you right now, but we'll get the payment by tonight or tomorrow. Will you stay in the city until then?"
As she already promised to compensate Blake, she intends to keep her word.
"Okay, I'll wait at that inn. You can find me there" Blake shrugs his shoulders and replied.
Glancing at the inn Blake pointed at, Linthia nodded her head.
Blake didn't feat the two of them running away, Linthia seems to want to fulfill her word, and the two of them seemed like trustworthy individuals. As that being said, Linthia then bowed slightly before she bids her goodbye and turns around.
She went in the other direction while Blake went in the opposite direction.
It was then, his jacket was suddenly pulled from behind.
Turning his head back, Blake saw Tara holding onto him by the edge of his jacket. Under his gaze, her face turn red like a tomato as she averted her gaze elsewhere timidly. She seems to have something to say.
"T- Thank you..." She suddenly said.
Feeling her face heat up, she quickly turns around and catches up to Linthia.
Clearly, she was thanking him for tending her wounds and didn't tell Linthia about her condition, "At least she said thanks. But now that I look at her, despite her matured air, she's really cute when she's acting like that" Blake mused.
Salana who heard this scoffed from the side, ruining his mood like usual.
"I've yet to find a woman that you met and didn't consider cute. Scarcity makes something valuable. Since you have low standards, being called cute by you is not that special" She said harshly, pridefully lifting her chin up.
But in return, Blake looks at her with a confused look.
"Are you dumb? I've never called you cute, so not all girls are cute"
"WHAT?!"
