Chapter 47: The Fallen Angel

*BONNIE’S POV*

Bonnie twisted in her seat the second she heard the booming sound of Marcus wrecking through the doors. She’d be lying if she said that her heart did not flutter happily inside of her chest when she saw that he was alright.

Every time she heard a gunshot go off, her nerves coiled with the horrible thought of Wolfgang getting injured. Or worse. But now, he was here and he was here for her.

“Oh, quite the bullsh*t dramatics, you pitiful, balless sh*head,” Karoline hissed in response to Julius’ show.

“Everything has always been just a game to you, Julius.” Marcus stepped closer.

“It’s why you’ll never be fit to run The Mad House,” Karoline bit out. “You’re too much of a liability to our world. You ought to be put down like a rabid dog.”

Julius snarled deep within his throat and pointed the end of his gun right between Karoline’s eyes. His mouth pulled back into a malicious sneer.
