"And what makes you so sure Angelo didn't offer me a better business plan?" Valentino questioned. He seemed unmoved by her idea. 


"Well, you're not his Second, are you? And he left you here by yourself to deal with us. That says to me that you're disposable," Maya replied and waved her hand away to emphasize he could be thrown away. 


"I made the choice to stay behind," Valentino countered.
