Chapter 28: Perspective Shift.

Whoever said that being a vampire was the worst thing ever had no idea what it was like to run across the city at night.

Then again, those who said that often didn’t do much running to begin with. At least, that’s what Lilith thought as she hopped onto the roof of Willow’s clinic. The good doctor was currently asleep, which is just the way Lilith wanted it after their…well, night of pleasure.

Lilith craned her neck and rolled her shoulders. Her waist was sore, as were her lips, her arms, and…well, everything. Annnd she might owe Willow a few new bedsheets, after the holes they made in the current ones.

But more than that, more than monetary worries, an unfamiliar feeling blossomed in Lilith. She was happy. Not just for the ‘dirty twenty’ she just did with Willow, but just being near her was enough to make her smile. It was such a strange feeling, like she had come alive after a long night of slumber.

And to keep that feeling, she was going to have to do some clean up first.
