The Trial is Opened!

There were 14 groups that had been formed on the field now and these 14 groups were all waiting for the trial portal to be opened.

At the same time, hundreds of cultivators were cheering their own celestial sects at the side while everyone was waiting for the rift to be opened at the bottom of the Ancient Desolate Black Mountains.

Naturally the loudest cheering was done by the three most powerful celestial sects which were the Lineart Sword Sect, the Morjinn Martial Sect and the Divine Mist Peak. 

The reason why this trial was called the Ancient Desolate Undermountain was because there was actually nothing on the surfaces of the mountains itself.

Rather, a rift portal would open into the Ancient Desolate Black Mountains itself into a totally different world that is filled with cultivation riches. 

Hence, it was the reason why it was called the Ancient Desolate Undermountain Trial.

Mystic laws surrounded this Ancient Desolate Undermountain Trial.

One. The number of cultivators that can enter this trial cannot exceed 100.

Two. Cultivators of the 6th cultivation realm and above will not be able to enter into the trial.

All of a sudden, the entire ground beneath the cultivators were shaking violently; this was a sign that the Ancient Desolate Undermountain Trial was about to start.

Immediately all the cultivators were filled with excitement. 

Saint Zheng Buren from the Morjinn Martial Sect smiled as he declared, "The trial is about to start soon. The trial groups will enter the rift portal one by one, every 5 minutes…"

Young Master Zheng Tianwu from the Morjinn Martial Sect was smiling wryly as he kept looking at Ye Fan's group; his eyes were constantly browsing on Fairy Xuan Xueqi's beautiful body as he waited for the rift portal to be opened.

His group would be the first to enter the trial portal once it had opened. 

The next group to enter the trial portal would be Elder Yan Daxia's Lineart Sword Sect while the third group to enter would be Young Master Xi Wugui from the Divine Mist Peak.

As for Ye Fan's group, they were queued in the 8th group to enter the trial portal.

Ye Fan saw that Young Master Zheng Tianwu, Elder Yan Daxia and Young Master Xi Wugui were constantly looking at Fairy Xuan Xueqi and he had a bad feeling about this.

His instinct told him that they were actually planning something.

And their target was his protégé mistress the Fairy Xuan Xueqi.

He hoped that he was actually wrong on this.

Most of the female protégés were not killed and they had even defected?

The ones that were killed, were only the males. 

No matter how dense Ye Fan was, he was able to catch the hint. Moreover, he was also a very smart man most of the time.

He was now confused whether he should treat the Witch Xuan Xueqi as his respected protégé mistress or his enemy. 

The reason why he had mixed emotions were because she had indeed destroyed Sword Saint Ji Yuan's inscriptions and had even badmouthed him in front of him.

He noticed that after the first 3 groups had gone inside the trial, the moods between the rest of the 11 celestial sects had actually become more jovial. 

It seemed to him that the 3 most powerful celestial sects in this place were not popular at all.

Fairy Xuan Xueqi lit a faint smile at Ye Fan and the remaining of her group, "Ye Fan, Fan De, Mei Yinxuan, Chen Yuyan, Ouyang Nana and Huangfu Ming. It is our turn now to enter the portal. Stay closely to me."

With that she had turned to walk toward the trial portal.

Ye Fan and the rest of his fellow protégés began to follow her. 

Soon, they were at the trial portal now and Fairy Xuan Xueqi had passed through the portal.

Ye Fan quickly followed as well and he could feel a powerful distortion that passed through his body and he was electrified.

And then, he had blacked out.
