Little Darling

Lucia burst into laughter as she looked at her grandpa's face. "Grandpa, you don't have to worry about that," she said, wiping a tear from her eye. She stopped laughing and put on a sad face. "Grandpa, I'm a bit upset."

Lucia's grandpa looked at her with a serious expression. He took off his glasses and set it aside. "What is it, my dear?" he asked, holding her hand.

Lucia looked back at him with watery eyes. "I'm upset that you're not feeling good. It broke my heart when I heard it," she said, her voice trembling.

"Ha, I thought it was something important," Lucia's grandpa said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Grandpa, how can that not be important? When it concerns you, everything about you and grandma is very important to me," Lucia said, squeezing his hand.
