Chapter 236: Hat Trick

The boys all grouped up within the lower floors, having just enough sight to notice the two siblings, with Stolas and Harvard laughing it off, whilst Solomon materialized two large, black hands from his shadow to chop them upside the head. "WHAT WERE YOU TWO THINKING!?" He shouted, already feeling the effects of the explosion kick in harder, the building beginning to teeter on its side, smoke and fire being created, spreading rapidly across the carpet. Solomon was quick in putting out the fires by spawning Red Sea Ark on it, flooding the halls and slowly dousing such heat.

"Ok, ok, Ok, I get it, Very bad thing for us to do.....BUT YOU GOTTA ADMIT, IT WAS FUNNY!" The Card Magician stated, cackling to himself, with Solomon having half a mind to punch his friend in the head again, but Zazel and Stolas served as cover whilst keeping an eye out for the other members.

"I really....REALLY hate you sometimes. Did you at least learned some stuff BEFORE you decided to blow everything up!?"

"Couple of things actually! The guys are apparently long since dead. This is just their husks now." That very statement stunted the two boys, with Stolas nodding in confirmation. The fact they were nonchalant with such findings also made them concerned, but Solomon would shake off the emotions.

"Ok, morbid as that is, it's SOMETHING. Though that does mean it's gonna make Gabriel probably have every single stage of grief at once. We were actually able to find that-"

SHIKK!!!

Before Solomon would finish his words, someone would draw blood. Harvard stepped in for the Biblical Sorcerer in taking the hit, a direct stab straight across his heart, a Meat Cleaver lodged into his chest, blood spilling from his mouth by the attack. When the four children looked on, they would notice a Hole was somehow made spontaneously in the ground, and one of the staff members managed to crawl out of it. Harvard would be quick in casting a spell, creating some Stone Arms to knock the Staff Member back, hitting him square in the face and forcing him to roll over, dropping the weapon within the crater, somehow disappearing before their eyes. The fact that they manage to pierce through him, even when he was still fused with Jury, was astounding to them. They would shift their sights on the staff member, watching the man having a far enough distance away from the children, with something different on their face: Instead of the usual two holes that served as his eye sockets, there was one. A Big cavity plastered on the middle. As the Staff member reached out through the hole, he would grab something and pull it out: Another staff member, which possessed the cleaver itself, still dripping with blood after the last attack. "Unfortunately, There has been a change of plans. You are not welcome into our Hotel services. We would like to kindly ask you to vacate the premises, but I can tell you aren't keen to listen. Instead, then, We will simply show you the way out." The Staff member stated, getting ready to pull out another staff member, whilst the recently popped one began to charge forward, cleaver in hand.

Stolas would be quick on the draw, creating a small star and firing it, having it blow up in the middle of the hallway, pushing the two back and causing heavy damage within the vicinity. He, alongside Solomon, would focus on getting the two and getting them out as fast as possible, leaving Harvard and Zazel the duty to push back as many of the staff members as they can, with the former setting up his chain-like arms and started swinging them like a flail, increasing the length bit by bit, having just enough to slash across the walls, but not too much to get them stuck on something. The two kept watch to see what else they can do, before somehow losing the very floor and beginning to fall. Zazel looked down to notice that a new hole was made, which was beginning to have knives, cleavers, and skewers ready to impale them. Without a moment to spare, The Demon casted a sigil, having its markings clash against the objects and letting it dribble, spewing forth a cascade of water directly at the hole, flushing the wielders and the weapons away, whilst serving the Sigil as a platform to stay atop. "Ok, so they basically have that Warp stuff the other guy had, but instead with holes..." He'd state, having the Sigil float through, preventing it from touching the ground.

Harvard would be a bit confused, looking towards his friend, an eyebrow raised as he began to recall his chains. "Warp what??"

"You kn-. . . Wait actually you don't. Shoot. I'll explain once we get to the elevator-" His answer would be stopped as he'd see a new hole made towards the walls, pulling out a curtain rack to try and clothesline the two children off of the seal. Harvard would be quick in having one of his arms reach out and grab the rack, applying force to snap it in half, and using one of such halves to strike back at the cavity, hopefully hitting their target. Alas, the Hole simply moved out of the way and prepared to pull out another, this time with a hooked-like end in order to catch the Card Magician and pin him against the wall, with multiple staff members crawling out of the crater like they were spiders. "Wait.....Not even the guy did something like thi- IS HIS MAGIC SERIOUSLY JUST HOLES!?" The demon yelled, switching directions and creating a new Sigil, blasting forth a wall of fire to separate the two. The Demon would grab Harvard once he was freed from such clutches and made a run for the elevator once more. Yet, once again, the Hole began to move, with two more being made and chasing after them, seeing exactly how they were being made and traveling at such alarming speeds.

They can see the hole itself being made once the Staff members make contact with it. Then, by grabbing the hole's edge, it can physically drag it across the terrain. They would see them running across the walls and even through the halls, wearing high boots to make sure they were close enough to touch the ceiling.

Hole Magic.
