For once, Silverfish spoke honestly, an uncharacteristically serious look on his face. He shook his head slowly. "I don't know. But he's got to have. Blackbeard had passed it, even if he didn't make the use of it. To be honest with you, Bert, I'm quite sure that he's stronger than you. Why do you think I joined him?"
Rast and Bert shared a look. Neither knew at this point what to think.
"What's your angle, Silverfish?" Rast said. "Are you trying to trick us? Get us involved in another one of your schemes, so you can try to make off with our coin? It ain't going to work, I tell you. My brother is not a man to be so easily tempted."
