A Commander's Strength - Part 1

With Vale and Silverfish to his left and right, They churned up column after column of men. As strong as the Green Skins were, if they were not facing them to directly defend their attack, then they fell just as easily as normal foes. Even if Vol's infantry wasn't strong enough to win on its own, it served its purpose in keeping the attention of the shield wall firmly fixed to the front, allowing for this raucous wave created by a mere fifteen men, most of them being cavalry.

As they went, folding the shield wall in, bit by bit, those Sea Serpent men that had been attacking at the front quickly fell in to attack from the flank instead, now that they were freed up from their other duty.

That was a wave of attack every bit as dangerous as the snake's head that was biting the rear of their centre. In barely a minute of attack, they'd managed to build up a momentum that was all but impossible to stop, unless one was a man of unimaginable strength.
