Their momentum was unstoppable. The force of that unity pushing behind Vol was like nothing that he'd ever felt. He wasn't particularly planning on dying, but just like the villagers, in that momentum, he felt like he wouldn't mind dying after all. To experience the thrill of being pushed on by an army – to have their strength become his strength.

When Vol's hammer finally collided with the shield wall, he was stronger than he'd ever been. He had to hold back a laugh, as he saw the intense looks on the faces of the men in the shield wall, wearing the King's black and gold colours, as if they thought they could stop him.

With a half step, and then a leap, Vol's hammer collided with the men in front of him. In the past, he would have shifted three, or four if he was lucky, but not with men that were of level 60 like these lot. Against those, he would have struggled.
