The enemy army took a step back, and Vol didn't take a step forward to match them. He ragged his foes, came to a breath halt, and his shoulders heaved up, and fell again, along with a heavy sigh.

It was an odd expression to make on the battlefield. It was as though he was sitting before the fire. It was hard to see past the look of outright contentment, if that's what it was… Though the look seemed so at odds with the ever active nature of his hands. His fingers drummed an impatient rhythm wherever they sat.

"Commander!" Came the village Elder's voice, made more youthful by the new and monstrous nature of his flesh. He regarded the young Commander, standing still as he was, as monstrous in his appearance as the Elder himself had become.

"Commander?" He said again, trying to insight him towards movement.
