Nobility - Part 2

The march from the town hadn't been as much of a distance as they were used to. An hour, at most. Apparently, that was due to their client's standing as a noble. Though it was only four fields that he had access to, those were still four fields near the town centre itself, making it a rather prized possession.

The tenseness of the march hadn't been much better than the meal the night before. The only cause for relief they had was through Silverfish, who talked loudly and openly as if the petty arguments of his other comrades were of no concern to him. He soon had some of the other men roped into those conversations, though it wasn't nearly enough to break the ice in its entirety.

Penelope hadn't spoken to Vol since the night before, and Vale was avoiding looking him in the eye. Out of all of them, it was Harland who seemed to be the most at ease. He was quite happy to throw out the same condemning warnings that he'd taken to as of late.
