And he's been making sure to march them all the way to the door of my keep, waving their weapons, and making threats. He hasn't outright done anything yet, but I thought I might act in advance. You know how the magistrates are, ever so reluctant to get involved with disputes between nobles. I fear I'll be murdered in my bed," Ser Snowcore said, quite amiably. His mood seemed to be improving by the second.

"And how many men do you have?" Penelope asked.

"Ten, as of this minute…" Ser Snowcore said. "The other half of my garrison are… otherwise indisposed."
