Chapter 13 – Notoriety

The next quest that they had chosen was an interesting one. Penelope had plucked one off the notice board, and she usually did, and she had confirmed that they had undertaken the quest with the magistrates. The Sea Serpents were all quite ready to go to another battlefield, and undertake whatever tasks were given to them.

However, within an hour of receiving that quest, and within ten minutes of setting out, they were found by a rather flustered looking man, red in the face from his panting, just as they gathered outside of the inn.

He noticed Penelope with her silver-hair first, and spoke to her, keeping his head bowed, though whether it was with respect, or from sheer exhaustion, it was hard to tell.

"L-lady Farseer, I hope..?" He asked.
