The men looked up at him.

"What? Why's you all pulling a face? Every time I make a suggestion, yer always doing this. Just because I'm old doesn't mean I'm stupid, you hear? Right, you stop that now, or I'm going to draw my sword."

"No…" Harland said. "It's just… For once, that's a reasonably good idea."

"True enough," Vale said. "They'll take time to scale the cliffs, and we'll have all the time we need to reposition and meet them. Far more time than we would if we were waiting in the towers. It's a good strategy. What do you think, Lord Commander?"

Vol nodded. "It'll do."

"Wait, wait, seriously?" Silverfish said. "I was just fuckin' around, fellas. I just said the first thing that popped into my head."

"And for once, it turns out it was a good idea," Vale said, with a hearty amount of coolness.

"Are you in on this as well, Tian? You ain't turning on me, are you?" Silverfish said.
