Shopping Spree 1

Alora spent most of her school hours writings test, invigilating younger students's and assessing and marking each test. The teachers were supposed to be attending a meeting throughout the school day and she was overwhelmed.

She had left school two hours after the closing time and since she didn't see Austin she walked home. Was today a Tuesday or a Wednesday?

Some questions that didn't have answers. She got home and was suprised at seeing Austin's car parked down the driveway.

She entered and hid behind the wall that separated the front door from the living room and listened to the noiseful chatter

".... so, I jumped out of the six storey building just before it exploded."

"Wow, Austin. Did you hurt yourself?"

"No Zeke." Alora peeped and watched the scenario. Austin rubbed his hair. "I only had a mild concussion."

"What does that word mean?" Ally asked.

"It means I was in a hospital for a few days."

"It's a miracle that you are still alive." Zeke said and Ally nodded in agreement.

"It it were me, I would probably have died in that building." Ally added and Austin laughed.

"Well, it is going to take more than a six storey building, eighteen sticks of dynamite and twelve assains to kill me."

"I hope not." Ally whispered to her brother.

Alora walked in and silence returned to the living room. She smiled as her siblings stood up and hugged her.

"Evening sister." They said, snuggling her.

"Evening, dearies " She hugged them back and after releasing her, she turned to Austin and smiled akwardly. "Hi."

"Good evening, Alora." He reminded her of how short she was.

"I wasn't expecting you." She wanted answers.

"I was going to pick you up but you were busy so, I thought that it would be better to stay here with your siblings. They have been very helpful."

"Thanks Austin." The twins smiled.

"Aww, look at that." Austin pinched Ally's cheek. "They smile simultaneously." He released her. "I was wondering if you would love to go for shopping."

"Really?" Zeke's eyeballs were literally bulging out of their sockets. "We would love to. Alora, can we?"

"Yeah, please." Ally pouted.

"I don't know. Did you ask Mum?"

"She was around when Austin picked us from school and he met her at home. Besides, he's your boyfriend."

"Is not." Alora said.

"Is too." Zeke and Ally stuck their tongues out at her.

"Well, it's settled." Austin jumped into the conversation. "We are going."

Without giving her a chance to argue, he hurried to find the twin's shoes and she went to take a bath. The guts of men these days.
