Alora had been on break throughout the week. She and Austin when on a carnival on Wednesday and she had finally resumed work. He told her that he had to travel to Italy for some important stuff. But she had no idea where in Italy
Today was a Friday. She was so happy. Austin was going to come back by 1:00 in the afternoon and promised to take her somewhere special. She told her parents who didn't stop her from going.
It was a surprise so, she had to wait.
Austin had booked hotels in Venice, Italy's city of love, Milan, city of fashion and designs and a private tour in Rome's Great Collosuim.
"You are crazy, dude." Julius said, sipping his glass of wine.
"Can you just shut up?" Austin scowled.
He thought it was a good idea to bring along the only expert at Roman history with him. Okay not the only expert but you know what I mean.
He was leaning against the plane window, daydreaming about the love of his life when he found himself explaining how he felt to his best friend.
Julius was quite surprised; his friend rarely spoke about his feelings, mainly because he was a choleric and phlegmatic at the same time and never expressed his feelings. Only of dissatisfaction, anger or hate, sometimes anger but mostly hate.
"Sorry." Julius rolled his eyes. "Even if her parents are totally chill with you, do you think that yours will accept her?"
"They would make a huge fuss about it." Austin pouted and collasped on Julius's lap.
"You are acting incredibly weird today." Julius awkwardly patted his head.
"I know." Austin buried his head deeper into his lap.
Julius dropped the glass and sighed. "I don't know what to tell you."
"I am sorry." Austin lifted his head. "I feel a bit touchy."
Julius shrugged. "Totally understandable."
"Thanks. I plan on taking her around Rome this weekend. She is going to love it."
He giggled and skipped away. Jul heaved another sigh. This girl must be infinitely special for the all mighty fault-finding Mafia boss, Austin Cannon. He had to meet this girl.
She sounded almost too good to be true. Even Heather must have been no match to her standards. From what Aus had told him, this angel was not even in the high class. She was probably in the middle.
Just wait till his enormous family meets her. They would probably tear her bits by bits with their comments. Julius could hear Austin sing as soon as the touchdown was announced. He had to be happy for his friend.
