JUNE
"Miss Silver, how do you feel today?" Kuro asked.
"Better than last month." Alora grinned. "Although my head still hurts but it's not as bad as before."
"Well, it's almost time for your walk." Kuro glanced at the clock. "Should we skip it or..."
"We shall take a walk around the hospital." Alora attempted standing up but fell back on the bed in pain. "Ouch, I almost forgot that I still unwell."
"You have recovered a lot in the past month." Kuro helped her up. "That's something to be proud of."
Alora held onto her IV pole and with Kuro's aid, they slowly stepped out of the room.
"Hey Kuro," Alora abruptly stopped. "Has Austin come to visit?"
"Only when you are asleep." She answered. Alora doesn't know her job as Austin's spy, it will be a bit problematic if she found out.
"Oh." She continued taking careful steps. "I hope he comes to visit. I miss him a lot." He face instantly flushes. "Here I am blabbing my life's problems to you."
"It's fine. Whenever you need to talk, I'll be right at your bedside."
"Thanks. I think we have walked a bit. I want to go back. Let me try to walk alone."
She turned back to the direction of the room. They had walked to an elevator with was in a corridor.
"Your room is currently a mile far." Kuro pointed out. "That will present a challenge for Miss Silver."
Ignorantly, she took one step and wobbled. Kuro quickly moved to stop her but she held out her hands, balancing her once again. "I'm fine. I can do it."
'Five steps, six steps, seven steps.' Alora counted. "Only one thousand, nine hundred and ninety three more steps left."
Suddenly, she tripped over her pole. 'Shoot. If I hit my head again...'
"Caught you." Austin pulled her up. "You shouldn't have to take walks now."
He smiled and carried her. "Excuse me," He motioned to Kuro. "Please can you help care her pole?"
"Of course." Kuro lifted it, careful not to move far from Alora who was in a daze.
'Austin came to see me.' She thought she was dreaming. "What do I do?'
