Celestial Heaven Sect.

Watching Yin Xiu fly towards the Central Continent, Alex pondered her words. While Eastern Demonic Sects were certainly wicked, there were innocent people among them too. Not everyone deserved extermination.

In the Eastern Continent, he'd seen many villages where regular folks lived their lives, undeserving of death. He couldn't agree with everything he heard, but he did recognize that most Demonic Sects were evil.

Three days passed, and they were still flying. Alex couldn't help but twitch his lips.

"Could we take a travel boat if you have one, Big Sister Yin?" Alex asked.

"Why? Want me to do more things for you?" Yin Xiu responded casually.

"No, not at all. It's just that flying like this will exhaust you, Big Sister Yin," Alex replied, frustrated by people who nitpicked every word. He'd dealt with enough of that in his past life.

"Haha, don't worry. I have enough energy to cross continents," Yin Xiu said and continued flying.

Five days later, they finally glimpsed land.

("(Finally!!!)") Alex breathed a sigh of relief. He was extremely tired and needed rest.

"Yes, we're close. Just another 15 days of flying," Yin Xiu informed him.

"Ugh..." Alex groaned.

And so, he waited.

Three more days passed.

Looking down, Alex saw the sects of this world. Small sects were similar to those in the Eastern Continent, though their names were stranger: "Crane Ascension Sect," "Flamingo Flower Sect," "Dragon Bellowing Sect."

"Why do all these sects have animal names?" Alex wondered.

"Hmm? You're from the Western Continent and you don't know?" Yin Xiu asked, frowning.

"I've only encountered three sects in my life, so I don't know much about others," Alex replied, growing increasingly frustrated.

Yin Xiu explained, "In the history of the Central Sects, a powerful group arrived here long ago, they were really powerful, more than anyone in this world, we thought they were from a higher world. They established various sects named after animals, reflecting their strengths and the creatures associated with them. That's why we have animal names." Yin Xiu explained she looked like a good scholar that read many books in her life, and for some reason, she was proud of this information.

"I understand now," Alex nodded, realizing it was similar to the history of Demonic Sects on the Eastern Continent, after they were given names of Demonic Sects they went full mad and decided naming themselves with arrogant and evil-sounding titles was more prideful, some of them were so arrogant that you would want to destroy entire sect sign when you saw it... and some of them were incredible, some of them were great. Alex thought about this as well.

Twelve days later.

Finally, they arrived. Alex looked ahead, stunned. He had thought nothing in this world could surprise him with its beauty, yet he was proven wrong. The place was breathtaking — mountains floated in the air, defying gravity. Waterfalls cascaded from many peaks, people soared and lakes gleamed like starlit skies.

This place looked like an absolute paradise for anyone who liked exploring, it was quite enormous too, it was something that he could explore and still have places to explore even after some time, Alex was stunned.

"Pretty," Alex exclaimed.

"Isn't it? I was taken aback the first time I saw it. You haven't even seen the best part," Yin Xiu said proudly.

"Yeah, I can guess that," Alex said excitedly, ("I wonder when I'll have a chance to ste--- i mean learn their techniques...") he thought.

They descended to the sect's entrance, where few people stood. It wasn't hiring time, but that would come later.

"Can I ask you something, Big Sister Yin? If there's no hiring happening, how can I join the sect?" Alex inquired.

"As I said, with your talent, I'll introduce you to the Sect Elders. No need to worry about talent tests; those take too long. You might be tested for strength and other things," Yin Xiu explained.

"Ah, I see. Thanks," Alex replied with a smile, eager to save time.

Inside the grand temple.

Alex found himself in a familiar setting, accompanied by Yin Xiu. She conversed with a white-haired, blue-eyed elder, their words shielded by a barrier.

"You must be Zhi Lu. I heard you reached the Soul Awakening Infant realm at 30 years old," the elder said, resembling a kind elder with candy.

"Yes, Elder. That's correct," Alex smiled kindly.

"I see. Extend your hand, young man," the elder instructed.

Alex obeyed, and the elder closed his eyes as he placed his hand on Alex's. Alex knew he was checking his talent, though he hardly cared.

"Well, Yan Xiu, you have a promising seedling here. I'll inform the Sect Master, and you'll become a Core Disciple," the elder said casually.

"Wait... Core disciple?" Alex couldn't believe it. What had the System shown this elder to warrant making Alex a Core Disciple? you had to know being a core disciple in Powerful sects like this was extremely hard, so hard that anyone ever got the title, It was because becoming the Core disciple was extremely hard, but if you could everything would be worth it, Core Disciples were revered and had access to the most techniques and resources. They were like kings of the sect, able to acquire anything they wanted.

Yin Xiu was equally surprised. "Elder, while I know he's talented, Core Disciple might be too much," she said, feeling embarrassed as she had earned Core Disciple status through years of hard work, unlike Alex, she was also very surprised that Elder actually decided to give the title this easily, in the past time when they got very talented disciple he still had to go through many different Elders for them confirm.

"The thing is—" the elder began, he wanted to say something. but an explosion interrupted.

Alex was shocked, he was feeling the energy that he felt quite some time ago.

The energy that actually made him really happy, he looked into the sky.

And he smiled really brightly.
