The Mission is Starting!

Forthwith, Micah jumped from the bed and went towards the shower.

Peter was already ready in the first place, but because of Micah's senseless thinking—he overslept. Soon enough, he was done with preparing for the mission, which they both left the room to meet up with the rest of the team.

One of the men graciously led them to a certain place that raised the princes' curiosity.

It had a ramp with a downward slope like an airplane, with cars packing each spot.

Boxes of what could be assumed ammunition and supplies were positioned all over the place.

It was quite a sight towards Micah, although Peter felt lost in the view. There was so much happening, he couldn't even comprehend they were to go.

But, no sight of the team was seen—until Peter saw Vienne rushing up to them.

She finally reached them, blubbering in excitement.

"It's happening—it's finally happening!"

"What's happening?"

"The mission is starting!"

Surprise was non-existent between the boys because they already knew about this.

But Peter did have one question. "When?" "Now!" Now the surprise was detectable in the boys, for it was happening so soon. In the midst of their surprise, they saw Vienne running from them, which they followed. They were led to a van that was quite an acceptable size, plus Asiris and Caville talking to some people.

They soon noticed the three running towards them, which confused them why they were running as if they were rushing somewhere.

"What's the rush?" Asiris asked, smiling.

"Aren't we leaving?" Peter asked. Asiris laughed. "Of course we are, I was reviewing our mission today." "Well, what is the mission today?"

"To be able to get to the Heather Eye, we need to find someone who knows where the eye is, and only one knows."

Caville joined in on the meeting. "The problem is, he's imprisoned by Ikes. So we need to get him out and ask him."

Everyone nodded, but the feeling of fear started to replenish between them.

Even Asiris's smile was gone.

"As long as we do what we're supposed to do, we'll be fine, okay?" she said, trying to bring back the courageous mood which she soon realized wasn't working.

"Anyways, let's go," Asiris said, as they quickly rushed into the car.

Operators screamed orders inside the base, and people started working off the area.

Asiris jumped into the driver seat and Caville in the passenger seat, whereas the others—including the late Xavier—came in.

"Okay, is everyone in?" he asked.

"Yes!" everyone shouted in unison.

Then he pushed the pedal, going on the first mission to save the world.

Hours passed, but the sun was still up as everyone was talking beneath themselves.

They were suddenly interrupted by orders from Asiris.

"Okay, listen—when we get there, hide your outfits with the coats in the back because this is now Ike territory. We will be going to an embassy where they will be hiding someone important."

They nodded in response.

"Okay, so just follow me and don't make any noise," he said, pulling up to a building about twenty stories tall. This was definitely a very big embassy.

The van parked into a little alleyway, marked with graffiti and a bunch of painted words.

"Well this place is ghetto," Vienne said, disgusted.

"Well this might get a lot more disgusting," Caville added, disgusting Vienne even more.

They started putting on their disguises including two black wigs which were for Peter and Micah.

"Put those on, because Ike boys need to have black hair."

Peter followed his word and put it on, otherwise Micah was quite hesitant.

"Just put it on," Peter scolded, forcing him to put it on now.

The group got out of the car, covered in cloaks and with swords and pistols out of sight.

"Okay, if someone comes up on you—don't fight them," Asiris said.

Everyone nodded in agreement, trying to keep a straight face to show no nervousness.

Although, it was quite hard as they were all staring at a flock of Ikes.

This was truly enemy territory.

Asiris and his group blended in with them, staring at the cars that drove by them, also black too.

"Wow, they surely love black," Vienne murmured, which then everyone gave her a disgusted look.

Befuddled, she apologized, "Sorry?"

"Okay, we need someone on top of the embassy to secure the helicopter," Asiris said, pointing to a helicopter that was fastened on the top which he assumed was a big H. "Peter, Xavier and Vienne—make your way to the top—the rest, follow me."

They departed, leaving the three still outside the embassy. "So, what's the game plan?" Peter asked. Then in a rush, Xavier presented his plan.

"Let's fight them like men!"

"No, no no no no," Vienne rejected. "We need to be smart about this, because if we don't—say good-bye to our heads."

The two boys gulped.

"Lemme take out my map," she said, pulling out her phone.

The building had many paths and stairs, which then she decided to present her own plan.

"There are three stairs that lead to the top—and Asiris is on one of them. So we can start the alarm as they rush to the top, only so much can be on each of the stairs."

"But wouldn't there be many people?" Peter asked.

"Of course, so we choose which has the lowest."

Xavier excitedly started tapping his sword. "This baby is gonna have fun."

It was a weird thing to say, in which Vienne and Peter looked disgustingly at Xavier.

"That's only the emergency plan, but we need to be as sneaky as possible."

Peter nodded. Then, Vienne pressed something that would activate a little GPS inside the building. She looked at them, giving a dramatic effect.

"Let's go."

The three rushed their way to the third stairs, which was the closest to them.

They came across the door with a big three, reminding Peter of his days at the orphanage.

They opened the door, and the stairs were stationed upward by a lot.

"Um, did your phone track this?" Xavier muttered to Vienne. She shook her head.

"Well, let's go…" she silently said and it was less dramatic this time.

They put their first step on the stairs.

Then the second, then third.

Then fourth.

Then came a very long walk, which they didn't even notice the height they were.

When Peter looked down, he let out a little shriek which seemed to stop the senseless walking.

"What?" Xavier asked, rushing down Peter's level. They looked down, finding themselves about hundred and thirty feet from the ground.

"Oh my, how did this happen?" Vienne asked, covering her mouth stunned.

Xavier scoffed. "What do you think?" he said, smoothing her shoulder.

Peter found their romantic touching unpleasant and disturbing.

"Let's move on, shall we," he said, breaking through them.

They seemed confused at his repugnance, but they followed anyway. They were near the top, and the door to the fifth floor was revealed.

"Alright, let's go," Vienne ordered, standing by the side of the door.

They got their pistols out, expecting to find themselves in a shootout.

"Okay, from my phone, there are a lot of people here, so Xavier—guard Peter."

He nodded.

"So, if you see any place of escape, just run there, we'll follow."

Peter nodded.

"Okay—let's go," she said, as she kicked the door and targeted her gun.

But no one was there.

It was an empty parking lot, with no vehicles but an elevator. They put down their firearms which Xavier disappointedly complained, "Where are the Ikes?"
