Chapter 90: Old Grief

*Griff*

I smiled as I poured some coffee into mugs for Gael and me. "I'm gonna see if Koyuki and Milo would want some."

Gael laughed. "Maybe Koyuki would, but Milo probably wouldn't. Not without some milk."

I smiled. "Reminds me of a private I used to know."

Gael blushed slightly and turned away. "Hmph!"

I snickered and walked into the tent.

Milo yawned as he opened his eyes as soon as we walked in. His face turned as red as his father's hair when he saw Koyuki was hugging him in her sleep. She'd been hugging him like that since we woke up. I thought of separating them, but Gael told me not to as I would end up waking them up. Although, I sensed ulterior motives.

"W-wah?" he muttered.

Gael snickered as he entered after me. "Don't worry, you're still a cherry boy."

I bonked him over the head. "Stop saying stuff like that."

He winced and rubbed his head. "Sorry."
