I snickered as I played with Seb. Setsura had arrived with him not long after the trio had left.

Setsuka and her mom were finishing up the food while I watched after the kids.

"He's so cute," Abby said, smiling at my boy as bonked a toy block.

"Hey, back so soon?" I said, waving.

My eyes widened as I saw Koyu and the mayor walk in with an exhausted looking Milo.

"What happened?" I asked, standing up. "Did you run into trouble on the way to the chasm?"

Koyuki patted Milo on the back. "No. We went to the chasm, but we had to stop as Milo started to panic."

I smiled slightly. "Are you that afraid of the dark?"

Milo didn't say a thing, just staring at the ground.

I frowned and walked over to him. "You okay? You look down."

"Are you sure? You don't seem fine."
