I stared at the desert. Nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary, no matter how much we scanned it.

"You're up early, again," Kisara said as she landed beside me.

"Same goes for you, Major, Lieutenant," I glancing behind me at the couple.

Uneri rubbed the back of his head and chuckled weakly.

"No sightings, huh?" Kisara asked, scanning the desert herself.

I nodded. "Yeah, but it's best not to let our guard down."

"I actually came to look for you as I got word that one of those beasts was spotted in Taahid."

"In Taahid? Will they be able to handle them?"

"Perhaps, but to make sure they're dealt, Prince Eorus wants you to go help them."

"Yeah. As Major, I can't go at this time. Not with the base being in its current state."
