"So, what did you see in the forest?" Mama asked as she chopped up some vegetables.

"It was really pretty," I said, smiling.

"Maybe when you're older," I said, ruffling her hair. "But we found some interesting stuff."

Mama looked at the crystals and frowned. "Are those mana crystals?"

I shook my head. "Mana storage crystals."

Her eyes widened. "Woah, those are rare."

I nodded. "Papa said they can be used to power up weapons and stuff."

She smiled. "That's good. That said, be careful when using them. They can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing."

"Do you know how they work?" I asked.

She hummed. "Well, their name basically says it. They store mana. Try to channel some into it. Your papa taught you how channel mana, right?"

I nodded. I could recall him teaching me how to do so.
