Griff sighed as he stared at his daughter. "I better go check up on the other two. I worry they might get into trouble."

I nodded. "That's fine. Be sure to take care of yourself too. You aren't exactly in all that good of a shape."

"The same goes to you, kid. Why not get some rest?"

I clenched Koyuki's hand. It was cold to the touch. "Not until they awaken."

Griff sighed and patted my shoulder. "Pumpkin and you are really alike. I wonder if Yukira will be like you two when she's bigger."

He furrowed his brow. "Guess Koyu hasn't told you, has she?"
