I took several deep breaths as I stared into the purple and dark void. It felt like it would shallow us whole at any moment.

Saffron gave my shoulder a gentle squeeze as he stood behind me. "Relax. I'm here."

I gave him a tired smile.

Kisa sighed. "I think you should rest, Rose. We might be in the dream realm, but that doesn't mean this isn't taking a toll on our bodies back in Milo's place.

I bit my lip.

"I know," I admitted, the weight of our task heavy on my mind. "But we can't afford to stop. Not until we've found Milo."

Kisa frowned, concern etching lines onto her youthful face. "Rose, pushing yourself won't help Milo. In fact, it could make things worse."
