I rushed toward the cloaked figure I had spotted in the distance. Was it another Nightfiend like the fake Echpon and they fake Andrey the others had seen?

The cloaked figured turned his head slightly, revealing stands of blue hair before vanishing.

I looked around, but I didn't sense anyone around. Who was that guy? His hair, it reminded me of that eyepatch man I'd met at Taisho.

"What's wrong, Captain?" Kisara asked as she and Rose flew over to me.

I took a deep breath. "I thought I saw that mysterious man again, Reginald."

"Well, at least I saw someone who looked like him. It could be a mirage."

Kisara frowned, her eyes scanning the vast expanse of the dream realm. "Reginald? Isn't he the one Kyung said gave him the dragon scale to give to us?"

I nodded. "Yes. He said something about helping his student."

"That would be my brother, Tasuku," Rose said, brow furrowed.
