Master gave me a solemn nod. "I understand. I foresaw this when we met."

I frowned. Did he know the specifics behind it too?

Koyuki ran over and buried her head in my chest. "Yuki, I don't wanna lose you again."

I patted her back. "I understand, but you won't be losing me. As long as you're around Milo, I'll be with you too."

I smiled and kissed her on our lips. My memory flashed to the other kisses in our lives. They were each beautiful in their own way, even my clumsy first.

"I love you, Koyu," I said, pulling away. "I always will."

"W-wait, can't we all give a piece to Milo?" Rose asked.

I looked at Master with a hint of hope, but the look in his exposed eye quickly dashed it.

"Sorry, but that won't work."
