We continued walking, the atmosphere between us shifting to something lighter yet charged with unspoken feelings. I kept glancing at her, my mind racing. What did her kiss mean? Was she just grateful? Or was there something more?
As we approached the university's clinic, I felt a surge of determination. I wanted to be there for her, not just as a friend but as someone who genuinely cared about her well-being.

"Practical is good," she replied, her voice softening. "And I appreciate it. Just don't go getting too worried, alright? I promise I'll take care of myself."
