When I got off work one night, she stopped me at the entrance to the club.
"Are you Susie?" I was stunned to hear this.
She took off her sunglasses and smiled at me. "Hello, I'm Carol Duncan, your twin sister."
I stared blankly at the face in front of me.
She told me that she had never known that she had a younger sister until a few days ago when she found a photo her mother had hidden.
She saw the name of our town on the back of the photo and came over behind our mother's back.
She wore designer clothes, had stylish hair, and had a cool motorbike-riding boyfriend.
She said that she wanted to see our father, so I took her to the hospital.
"I didn't know life was so hard for you." She cried in front of the hospital bed. "Susie, we're sisters. I'll help you."
She secretly paid our father's annual fee and hired a caregiver for him. She paid off our debts and advised me to resign from the club.
