A Different Criminal

An idiom popped into my head: "Fish in a barrel."

I was that fish.

Across the wall was a residential building, but the balconies were sealed off, which meant I couldn't climb up there.

Just then, two policemen came into the alley, pointed their pistols at me, and shouted angrily, "Freeze!"

I jumped straight onto the roof of the bungalow across the balcony.

The cops were edging closer to me. That wall with broken glass was my only way to escape.

I ran forward and saw an antenna. I ran too fast and accidentally knocked it down. So I fell off the roof of the bungalow.

It hurt so much...

I got up and saw a cartoon rabbit with a carrot in its mouth.

Was it Kingston's home?

When the cops saw me fall, they hurried to chase after me.

Startled, I looked into the room and saw a man standing at the window, looking at me with a frightened face.

Could it be...

I hit the window with my fist, and the glass broke immediately. The man inside tried to back away, but I grabbed his clothes.
