Before we even reached the party it was clear that tonight was going to be wild. There were boisterous, stumbling groups of people meandering all over the place. It seemed that the multiple open parties being held tonight had encouraged people to party hop, which resulted in quite a few drunken revelers wandering around the grounds. 


Juniper was getting progressively more excited the closer we got to the party. I was shocked to hear that the party we were going to was hosted by the Wayne County pack; Jack’s pack. 


Jack wasn’t even planning on being here tonight, so I thought it was strange that his pack was hosting an event, but apparently he’d left it in his Beta, Lucien’s, hands. He seemed to trust Lucien implicitly. It was interesting to me how many people Jack actually seemed to be close to, despite his detached demeanor.
