In the midst of what seemed like a battlefield, a young boy with white hair knelt on the ground, struggling to catch shallow breaths. A short sword pierced his heart, his arms and legs were broken, making him unable to stop the crimson blood from coloring the ground.
"That's what you get for betrayal," a red-headed teenage boy sneered as he stood before him.
"A pathetic person like you could never be my brother," added a purple-haired girl, her voice seething with anger, as she stood alongside the redhead.
With great effort, the young boy shifted his gaze forward. He could see many familiar faces in front of him—his so-called family, his so-called friends but his gaze remained fixed on her.
"Wh..y, A.nna," he uttered with immense difficulty and sorrow in his voice, his vision blurring as he locked eyes with the blonde-haired girl, who regarded him with emotionless eyes.
"I did that so I could save you," he said, his voice gradually growing louder.
"I DID THAT SO YOU COULD LIVE!" he shouted, making everyone present flinch in fear.
"I never asked you to do this" the blonde-haired girl replied, her words crushing the very soul of the boy.
"A...nn.a,"
the young boy whispered one last time, a small tear slipping down from his eye as he breathed his final breath.

i need more this is very addicting ,the story so far is very good and the characters are very likeable, the only downside is that it's update are slow hope so the author did not drop this novel

I haven't read the story yet just the summary, but I was going to feel bad for eden at first until the whole "I did this for you" thing. then all I could think is that he kinda deserves it for living solely for a women like that
Amazing novel! Really good plot and world building
You know that random thing you do when you’re bored where you go and check the fridge for no reason hoping there’s something new in there even though you checked the fridge mere hours before? That’s what I do with this novel right here. It’s like crack to me and I keep coming back for more. It’s a great read. Author does a good job so far.
I wanted to give this a 4.3 or even 4.4 but after the time skip it felt like we had missed so much more than we should have from the story. I hope AN would incorporate it in between but time skips for training are fine but gaining new powers that you got from the girls you have conquered feels like we missed a lot, because if i had to choose btw a arc where we get to know about his adventure and what happen in 2 years his fights with different kind of monsters and people, than the teenager drama and bickering with kids, I would choose the 2 year one and slice of life after( just my opinion) this is just me nitpicking stuff that I found annoying. But overall the story is very interesting with time-space availability. I hope the author updates it more regularly because it has a good plot and a storyline 👏.
