King Of Lust

I couldn't believe what was happening before my eyes. I stared in shock and fear as my soulmate collapsed. I felt his agonising pain through the mark and knew his life was in danger. I had to go help him.

I banged my fists against the window and thought hey, he sealed the door but not the window. The window was safe from my magic. I pressed my palms against the glass before the glass got covered by ripples and water splashed off the frame. I then peeked out and stepped with one foot out and then the other and then I jumped.

I didn't think I would actually survive that fall, not that I was even thinking about that, but I landed as if it was a breeze. My body was changing somehow. But all that was on my mind was my mate.

I rushed to him first followed by the others inside the house coming out with me. I kneeled down and turned him to lay on his back before nudging him.

He was bleeding a lot. I pressed my hand against his side and heard him wincing in pain. Why wasn't he healing?!

"Shit!" Zayne one of his friends said and held his head. "That's soulstone! I can't touch it Dorrek, you need to throw that dagger far away from him!"

"Okay..." I grabbed the dagger and threw it off to hell knows where and then I tapped Agreus's cheek. I was panicking feeling like my whole world was about to collapse. "Agreus wake up! Please!"

"Somebody help! Ace go to the campus and get us a healer!" Zayne ordered.

"The academy is still under attack!" Said another.

"Fuck! You guys just go help them and somebody bring us a healer!"

I wasn't properly registering what they were talking around me. My eyes felt like they were tearing up. This was all my fault. Again I was the cause of disasters and chaos just like I was all my life. The universe hated me ever since I was born and now...I was going to lose the only one I ever had that loved me for who I am.

I held Agreus to my chest. A single tear drop fell from my eyes landing on his skin and suddenly I was enveloped by something warm and light. It felt like there were these wings coming around me and when I opened my eyes there was.

Bright wings I fire envelope me and Agreus coming from bursting flames that came from my chest. Was I doing this?

The wings spread before the fire turned blue and swirled around us both. I felt agreus slipping out my grasp and floating in the air.

"What's happening?!" I panicked wanting to make it stop.

The blue fire raised him high in the air and the. He came back down into my arms before the fire just dissipated. His wound was gone, completely healed up and soon his eyes opened up again.

"Dorrek?" He said my name looking at me.

"You're awake...eh..." I smiled happily. "GUYS HE's awake!"

Zayne came quickly and looked at me in disbelief. "No way! He was dead just now! Dorrek how did you do that?!"

"I don't know but he's alive!"  I cried and hugged him tightly burying my face into his chest and sniffing. "And don't ever scare me again!"

"There there now, I'm not going anywhere." Agreus chuckled and patted my back, pulling me on his lap.
