Date night. And to think I thought Cole attacking me was scary. 


I had agreed to another date with Rafe. I had agreed to try again with him because he cared about me. 


I didn't know what to think really, and saying ‘yes’ was a spur of the moment decision. Ha! When was it not when romance was involved between us?


So many things could go wrong, and so many things could go right. I wanted to try at least because damnit. I still had feelings for him and a lot of the stuff between us felt unresolved, even though all we were doing was talking with each other. 


This date felt different from the other ones. It was the same intensity, just...more serious. At least that's what it felt like to me. I was going to find out if we could even be a couple anymore, and I was sure Rafe was feeling the same pressure.
