"Shut the fuck up. I look good in this jacket." 


I took another look at my black leather jacket with studs.


"That's not what I said," Rafe noted, giving me an exasperated look. “I’m just asking because it’s a bit much for your first outing together.”


I sighed. “Don’t try and get into my mind right now. I don’t even know why you’re here.”


It was rather early in the morning and I was already prepared to go out with Mia to the mall. It was a casual date, but all the guards would be outside to give us some privacy. We hadn’t really had a chance to relax with all the drama on so I was looking forward to it.


I was actually nervous when asking Mia to go out with me to the mall but the other had enthusiastically agreed. I knew I wasn’t imagining the dreamy sighs and heated stares. I’d done that more than a few times myself.
