Black's Manor; Meeting Her In-Laws

Nilsa buckled her seatbelt and leaned her back against the car seat closing her eyes in boredom, she heard the other door opened and closed signaling that the butler just got in, he started the car and in no time they were heading towards the West coast of the city to the Blacks Manor.

The butler kept stealing glances at the young lady beside him who had her whole face covered, the only thing he could make out is the back of her hand and her slender neck which has an emerald green gem stone on it.

The gem had been shaped in the form of a tear drop, from her skin colour he could tell that she wasn't a white skin lady but a brown skin girl which puzzled him for a moment but thinking back to when Lucian's parents had asked him to pick up the young woman...they didn't tell him her name or how she looks.

They just told him to pick up the Walker's family daughter and besides he's not a fun of entertainment news so is not his fault for not knowing the identity of the Walker family's daughter, he also doesn't know if they had more than one daughter.

The butler kept stealing glances at her from time to time wondering what will make such a young girl hide her face behind a mask....?

She's also so calm and haven't spoken a word since he came to bring her with him to the Black's Manor. "I hope she can stand the young master's bad temper because even his parents and grandparents can't have any control over him when he's furious, let alone a silent wife" the butler thought with an internal sigh.

Nilsa Walker could feel the butler's gaze burning into the side of her covered face but it's not a gaze that has malicious intent but rather... it was a look of pure curiosity, she didn't mind the stare after all who wouldn't stare at her when she has hidden her identity from the world...?

Throughout the entire ride the butler kept stealing glances at her once in a while but the young lady didn't move at all or did she show any signs of discomfort under his curious gaze rather.... she kept the same posture till they got to the Blacks Manor.

"Ms. Walker we're here please" he spoke which snapped the young woman out of her sleep. Nilsa flattered her eyes open under her cap. She swiftly opened the door and got down looking up at the castle like house or to be more precise this is a mansion, it was totally different from the Walker's Manor.

The Walker's Manor have 4 floors in total whiles the Blacks Manor have about six floors, there were flowers planted in front of the building and the air there was fresh and calming the lights around the building makes it glow in the middle of the night which makes the whole compound look beautiful and cozy but she didn't have to the luxury to admire everything.

She just wanted to get this faze over and done with already. As the saying goes, "the earlier the better". Nilsa walked towards the back of the car where the butler was bringing out her suitcase, she took both the suitcase as soon as she got there but the driver tried to stop her from dragging her things herself to which she shook her head at since she's not comfortable with the treatment.

As for the butler....he looked shocked for the second time that night as he has never met anyone who didn't like the attention of the Blacks family servants or their services.

"How can she be so different from the people from most influential families....?" he asked himself inwardly whiles leading the way. "I like her " he thought to himself again. The Butler led the way whiles Nilsa followed behind him quietly, her footsteps were as light as feathers.

Her footsteps were so quiet and light that if not for the suitcase she was pulling along with her the butler would have thought that he was walking alone. They passed through the path made in the garden getting to the stairs... they climbed about six stairs and entered the already opened doors of the mansion.

After which they passed through the short corridor to the large sitting room which was painted with warm colours. She saw four people in the sitting room when she and the butler entered, the sitting room has creamed coloured floor carpet.

The largest couches we're place at the left and right side of the sitting room with two armchairs in-between with a tea table at the center with a squared shaped like floor rug underneath them which looks soft, different paintings were hanging on the walls and a large LED television was also facing the sitting area, the place feels more like home than that of the Walker's.

There were four people sitting in the living room chatting and laughing which she has never seen during the years she spent in the Walker family.

And as they got closer to them she walked side by side with the butler the four pairs of eyes snapped in their direction as they got closer and closer to where they were sitting in the large sitting room. Nilsa was nervous inwardly but calm and collected on the surface.

They came to a stop in front of the people who sat there, she looked at her right side from under her cap nervously, on her right side....was an old couple sitting elegantly whiles looking at her quietly.

The old woman has a blonde hair, blue eyes, light pink lips and thick eyebrows, even though she was older than she looked ,her skin didn't have much wrinkles. Her blonde hair has a shine to it which means she has spent a lot in metaining her hair colour. She was wearing a simple knee length black dress paired with a three inches short heels.

She was older but energetic and the older man sitting beside her has raven black hair with a few grey hairs scattered in it, his features were aging but still held some sharpness to it. He has thick brows, long eyelashes, red lips and grey eyes that held a lot of experience and kindness even though his aura was cold.

One might think he's not approachable at first glance but Nilsa knew that wasn't the case at all, infact if you observe him more closely you could detect his softness, she stared at the man for quite sometime before turning her head slowly to her Left side of the room where the middle age couple were sitting.

The middle age woman who has been staring at her since she came has dark midnight hair, brown hazel eyes, not so thick eyebrows and long eyelashes, her heartshaped lips were painted with light pink lipstick.

Though she might look younger than her age, Nilsa knew she was older than what her body portrays. After staring at her for quite a while her eyes shifted to the last person in the room.

The middle man got his looks from the older couple sitting on her right side, he got his blonde hair and light pink from his mother whiles he got his grey eyes, sharp nose and jawline from his father, the rest of his features were inherited from the older ma, his grey eyes looked her up and down with scrutiny with his brows furrowed together.

A clearing of throat brought Nilsa out of her observation, she peeked at the person who cleared his throat and smiled internally, this butler was trying to save her from the severe scrutiny of the middle age man which infact didn't bother her.

"Sir this is the Walker family's daughter you asked me to bring" the butler told.

"But this isn't the girl we asked you to pick up, we said Raymond's daughter herself not a brown skin girl," the middle age man said with a confused tone which shocked the butler for a moment.

"Sir you didn't tell me her name or identity, you just told me to bring her and she's the one I met in the Walker Manor as well, the equally bewildered butler replied him back.

"What is your name young lady...?" the middle age man asked the girl in front of them with a cold aura surrounding him, he watch with a puzzled expression as the girl took out her phone to type quickly before giving it to him.

"I'm Nilsa Walker , the second daughter of Raymond Walker", the text read. A light bulb went off in the middle age woman's head as she widened her eyes whiles looking at the phone then the young lady with a cold expression.

"She's a mute," she said quietly but they all head it clearly.

"That sly Fox has sent us a substitute, how dare he," the middle age man said calmly but Nilsa knew he wasn't calm at all.

"Just because our son is blind and crippled doesn't give him the right to make us look like a fool," he added whiles looking at the girl covering her face with unfriendliness in his grey orbs.

"Now what...?," Nilsa muled to herself silently.
