Chapter 35

"Randy, can you take me to my parents please?" Asia looked over at the young ghostly lad, his eyes widened at the request.

"Okay, but are you sure that's a good idea? I don't think they'll want to see you." He stood up and looked down over her.

"I know they won't, but they don't have a choice. I want to see them." Asia stood up with Randy, "Fine then. But I'm not going to take you. You know where your house is."

Asia saw herself out of the alleyway and headed up to the house in the hill top. It was a grand mansion made of marble and completely black and white like all of the other buildings in the town.

She walked up the grand steps and found herself in front of two massive doors. As she walked up to the entrance, she could hear a loud booming sound coming from inside the house. She couldn't quite deduce what the sound was exactly. She knocked on the door. Nothing. She knocked again. Nothing.

The door wasn't locked so she decided to just go in. It was her house after all. As she opened the door, her vision flooded with every colour imaginable and from inside the house, there was blaring party music. She could see the ghostly form of her parents as well as another tall man dancing on a dancefloor.

"What in the hell is going on here." Asia stared in shock and disbelief at what she was seeing. She gazed with her mouth wide open in shock at the sight before her. "Mum? Dad? Uncle Dark?"

The three didn't catch a word and carried on dancing. "Damn it!" Asia pulled out a hammer she packed in her bag just in case and lobbed it at the speaker. It smashed to smitherins and the music cut out immideately. "What is all this, what on earth is going on?"

"Oh, Asia sweetie, your home. How's work at the WPA going?" Asia's dad walked up to her and pretended to ruffle her hair.

"What! Why on earth are you acting all friendly?" Asia slapped away her dad's hand but it just went straight through. "I can't believe it. All this time, and you aren't even the smallest bit sorry for what you did."

"Did what, Honey? What did we do?" Her mum looked a bit confused and upset at the regard.

Asia's dad screeched in terror and ran up and hugged his wife. "Oh no Honey, I think Asia might be one of those strange kids who blames their parents for their birth."

"Oh no!"

"What are you going on about?" Asia looked at both of them with disgust. "I can't believe it. All the abuse and suffering I endured for so many years and neither of you show the slightest bit of remorse."

"What abuse, we raised you with love." Asia's mum now looked really confused by the remark. "I know you're an adult sweetie but you really need to not drink as much."

"What! Im not an alcoholic!"

Asia's dad clutched his wife even harder. "Oh dear Honey, out worst fears have come true. Our baby is doing drugs." The two cried in each others arms.

"What is wrong with you two? I'm not on drugs." Asia was also becoming confused by the situation. "I think your minds have been tampered with."

The tall, living man at the back stepped forward. He was Asia's uncle. His name was Dark G. Arenwarde. "Actually Asia, it's more likely that you've been tampered with. I'm still alive and I know for a fact that you were never abused, not once."

"If that's true then explain how my parents died. I know I killed them with my trick. My trick only activated with negative intent."

"It's because you didn't kill them. Someone else did." Asia's eyes widened at that fact. Her entire life and past as she knew it was being turned upside down.

"Who did, do you know who?" Asia asked out of fear, confusion and curiosity.

"We do, it was a man you knew quite well. Nathan T. Rymoni." Dark looked away as he said his name. That name caused him a lot of mental pain.

"The man who worked at Natfields groceries? The old man who was always so kind to everyone." Asia looked back at her memories. She saw him as some of the few lights in her life. One of the people to distract her from her suffering.

"The very same. We caught him sucking the souls of people, we were powerless against him. He had all too much experience. There were few survivors from the massacre. I was one of the lucky few. You were another and a few friends of yours were also lucky." Dark looked at Asia's parents and then at the ground. "The only saving grace is that he died a year ago. His grave gets spat on daily.

"I don't get it, my entire life is just a blur right now."

"Stay with us Honey, well tell you what really happened." Asia's parents asked her to sit down to chat about what really happened and for her to hear the truth. "Let's start from the beginning shall we."
