Wedding

>>Mavis

In the quaint Palace garden adorned with flowers and draped with delicate white lace, Enri and I stood side by side, hands clasped together, ready to embark on the next chapter of our lives.

Our wedding day had arrived, and it was to be an intimate affair, filled with love, joy, and the presence of those closest to their hearts.

The place echoed with soft music played by a string quartet, filling the air with melodic notes that added to the enchanting atmosphere. Rows of wooden pews were filled with the duke's most trusted knights, resplendent in their polished armor, a testament to the loyalty and honor they held for their leader. The knights stood as guardians, their presence a symbol of protection and support for the couple.

At the front was a modest altar, adorned with bouquets of wildflowers, arranged with care by Enri's mother herself. The fragrance of the blossoms mingled with the gentle scent of beeswax candles, casting a warm glow throughout the chapel. A soft ray of sunlight filtered through the cloudy sky as a soft wind blew.

We had a small private wedding with a small number of guests that included the royal knights, Enri's family, the king, and the queen, and a surprise visit from an old acquaintance of Enri, Elayne, who happened to be the demon queen. She came to join us for a few hours with her adorable son and left as night started to fall.

Enri's mother, on the other hand, wore a beautiful dress but her eyes were constantly wet, as if she wasn't attending the wedding of his son, but rather of her daughter.

As the ceremony commenced, I walked to the altar in my pretty white dress with a rose bouquet in my hands. Enri stood at the altar and when I caught sight of him, my heart skipped a beat.

I can't believe this day is here.

I couldn't help but smile. I was beyond happy.

As I reached the altar, he offered me a hand and helped me up on the stage where the Oracle stood to supervise the commencement of a pure relationship.

I looked at my man, wearing a white wedding dress to match my color, the napkin in his pocket was the same color as my hair while I wore the red hairpin he had bought me.

I turned my head, and in the far corner, in a wheelchair, sat my mom, brought here by the hospital in charge of treating her with two attendants by her side. I know she doesn't approve of this, but I still invited her.

She was my only blood after all. Whether she came or not was up to her. But seeing her here meant she at least wanted to see me in a bridal dress, right?

I smiled at her, and although she didn't smile back, she didn't tear her gaze away from me either. She just gave me a nod and I turned to look at Enri again.

With pounding hearts filled with joy, we exchanged our vows, Following the exchange of rings, a tender kiss marked the culmination of our promises. After which the crowd erupted in applause and jubilation.

We passed each other a smile, then turned to face the crowd.

We were now husband and Wife.

Hehe

Husband… and wife…! I couldn't stop my smile no matter how much I tried. It just wouldn't fade away.

In the reception area. Rustic wooden tables were adorned with wildflower centerpieces, and candles flickered gently, casting a warm glow upon the guests. Laughter and merriment filled the air as everyone celebrated the union of two souls.

Dinner was served, featuring a sumptuous feast fit for a celebration of love. The aroma of roasted meats, freshly baked bread, and delectable desserts wafted through the air, enticing the guests to indulge in the culinary delights. Throughout the evening, music and laughter filled the courtyard, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. A lot of wine was served as well and all the knights got drunk.

My mom was taken back as soon as the wedding ceremony ended, so I spent most of the time with my mother-in-law while Enri was with his nights.

It was a truly wonderful event. The dark sky loomed over us with a pleasant breeze making the weather great.

As the night drew to a close, Enri came to me while I was chatting with the duchess and the female knights.

"Mavis?" He presented me with his hand.

I took it even before he asked me anything, "Yes?"

"Will you dance with me?" He asked softly, melting my heart.

"Yes," I stood up as he gripped my hand and took me to the dance floor, which was basically just a clearing everyone had made, surrounded by the soft glow of lanterns suspended from trees.

It was our first dance as husband and wife and I was nervous but thrilled as well.

As the enchanting melody of a waltz filled the air, our eyes locked in a gaze filled with love and tenderness. The courtyard was bathed in the soft glow of lantern light, casting a romantic ambiance that seemed to embrace the couple in its warmth.

With soft and steady movements, Enri swept me into his arms, his hand placed firmly on my back while I placed mine on his shoulder, we passed each other an excited look, then we danced.

Gliding across the dance floor, our feet moved in perfect harmony with the lilting rhythm. The soft rustle of my gown echoed with each gentle turn and twirl, accentuating the beauty and grace of our movements.

I don't think I'll ever forget this day. The smiles were radiant, the faces aglow with joy and contentment, the soft ambiance and the presence of only loved ones.

Time seemed to stand still as we continued our dance, lost in our own world, oblivious to the world beyond our embrace. The courtyard, filled with loved ones, watched in awe, witnessing a love that was destined to flourish and endure.

In that dance, I felt something different. I felt like I saw something in it. I had not only shared a moment of harmony and beauty with him, but I felt like I also saw a glimpse into a future filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

When we officially became a couple, there was a lot of change in him, especially because he started treating me as an equal.

Considering there were only a few guests there, the amount of cheering was obnoxious but it was a joyous day that everyone enjoyed. The knights were especially overjoyed that their captain was finally getting married to the point they all passed out drunk

The wedding night though, was in our new house, the servants were scheduled to come in the next day so we had the whole place just to ourselves. And that was sort of overwhelming.

The master bedroom had a king-sized bed where I waited for Enri in my nightgown.

My heart was pounding like crazy and there was so much going on in my mind. Especially the fact that I was a noob and he had a lot of experience.

Gosh! This is going to be awkward!! I know what to do but I also know having no experience is going to make things awkward for me!

What if I mess up??!

The door opened.

!!!

My soul tried to leave my body but I held onto it as I shyly turned to look at my husband.

He closed the door behind him and glanced at the candles that were illuminating the room just right to set the mood.

He then looked at me and it sent shivers down my spine. I felt my body jolt in anticipation as he began to walk toward me. He took off his coat and his shirt before he reached the bed and I gulped as I stared at his naked upper body.

Those washboard abs were like eye candy but that serious, haughty face couldn't be compared to anything!

He climbed onto the bed and I started feeling more nervous as he came closer.

"There's no need to be nervous," He smirked, "I'll be gentle." His words made my heart flip as he sat right in front of me, "I'll guide you." His voice was soft yet it made my skin stand up.

"Yes…" I covered my face with my hands because I felt embarrassed but he grabbed my wrists to remove them.

"Hey," He whispered, "I want to see your face when we do it."

My blush meter broke at his words and I could only nod shyly. He chuckled and leaned in for a kiss. It started as a gentle soft kiss but as it went on, it started getting rougher, wilder, and more hungry. The pieces of clothing just dropped to the floor as the pleasure of skin got lustier and naughtier.

Everything just went with a flow and the room was filled with lewd sounds as I gave my body and soul to my soulmate.

In that intimate moment, time seemed to stand still as we sealed tour love with warmth and tenderness of shared affection.

Our hearts were intertwined, and we knew that this marked the beginning of a cherished journey, filled with love, respect, and an unbreakable bond that would withstand the tests of time
