With an expressionless face, Ruthlyn walked into the living room from the doorway, hoping that Ethan wasn't be annoyed at her intrusion.

"Here to apologize or what?" She heard him ask and she shook her head vigorously.

"You asked me to get a friend, and I chose Miss Ander- I mean Shikera. I don't think I have to apologize for gossiping with my friend about you as long as we didn't slander you," she replied.

"Then, what are you here for?" He took his seat and waited for her to do the same but when she didn't, his eyebrows raised.
