You can change into these. I'm pretty sure Jeans aren't the most comfortable thing to sleep in." Steve said teasingly as he handed EunJung an oversized t-shirt and shorts as they both made their way to his room to retire for the night.
EunJung accepted the clothes and made her way to the bathroom and changed into the loose black t-shirt that reached till her knees and the shorts.
She quickly flopped down on the couch in the room and stared at the ceiling as she collected her thoughts. She grabbed her phone which she had left on the couch before she went to change.
She went through her messages. It was a habit of her's to check her messages before going to sleep. She had a few messages from her group chat with Chris and Felix.

EunJung scrolled through her other messages. She felt like someone was staring and her eyes met Steve, who was drowsily staring in her direction. Casually his eyes drifted to the ceiling. A subconscious smile spread across EunJung's lips at the sleepy boy.
EunJung was about to turn off her phone and go to sleep herself when her screen displayed a new message. The familiar contact caused her to freeze for a moment. She decided to ignore it for the time being.
Her thoughts began to swirl, Today was Hectic but what about tomorrow? Do I really want to face the truth? No! Do I have a choice? No! Ugh!!, EunJung let out a sigh, pulling her hair in frustration.
"Okay, somethings wrong. What's on your mind Eun?" Half asleep, Steve asked brows knitted together representing that the said girl had no choice but to answer him.
"It's nothing." She responded more firmly than she had intended to.
"Clearly it isn't 'Nothing'." The boy rolled his eyes. The hint of mischief back in his eyes in hopes to enlighten the atmosphere.
He didn't receive a response but was met with silence. Rather than responding EunJung had closed her eyes and took in a deep breath to calm herself.
She felt a pair of arms around her, and she didn't even think twice before leaning into the touch.
"You know you give the best hugs." EunJung muttered drowsily . The comfort and warmth eased her racing mind and the next minute she was consumed by darkness as sleep became more tempting.

He couldn't help but stare at EunJung as she lay on the couch, scrolling through her phone. Her relaxed form caused warmth to swell up inside him. The smile adorning her features was nothing short of pure happiness.
He wished his best friend never stopped smiling. It made her seem pretty and so much more alive and refreshed yet she always chose to hide her emotions. Refusing to break her walls. Refusing to let anyone think she's weak but in Steve's perspective she was more stronger then she gave herself credit for. She had witnessed death but she had learned to cope and now she seemed completely fine whilst he himself had drowned in grief upon the death of his older sister, Ara, until EunJung showed him light in the darkest time. She had pulled him out of the deep dark hole.
The girl on the other side of the room, suddenly turned towards the brunette. The boy just smiled at her with drowsy eyes continuing to silently admire her. He saw her return the smile. If it was possible her smile was enough to make his own smile grow wider.
Sleep engulfed him, strongly. He turned on his side so that he was now facing the ceiling and laying in a more comfortable position.
Suddenly as if someone had flipped a switch, the tension in the room increased. Steve turned back to face EunJung and frowned at the sight before him. She was no longer smiling. Her face seemed deprived of emotions, deep in thought staring at the ceiling.
"Okay, something's wrong." The boy sat up, knitting his eyebrows together and fighting off the sleep that had been consuming him.
"It's nothing." EunJung replied bluntly, her voice devoid of any emotions.
"Clearly it isn't 'Nothing'." Steve rolled his eyes. His eyes shone with mischief hoping to lift the mood. However he was only met with EunJung taking shallow breaths.
Out of instinct he got up from his place and wrapped his arms around her in a hug. Not wanting to push her. He didn't question further and let her lean into the embrace.
"You know you give the best hugs." EunJung muttered barely audibly, but Soobin heard it and a smile spread across his face as he held the girl more protectively as if someone might try to harm her.
When her entire weight shifted on the brown haired boy. He glanced at her to find her asleep. He lay her back on the couch before he himself made his way to his bed. Letting sleep consume him. In a world where thoughts ran freely.
