I immediately left the couch, but everything started to black out. When I regained my consciousness and slowly opened my eyes, Louis was looking at me worriedly. He asked whether I was okay. After some time, I realized that it wasn't my house and that I was in the hospital.
I was barely able to understand what was happening to me. Again, I lost my consciousness, and the next time I woke up, it was morning. I could see daylight coming into the room I was in, and on the other side, I saw Louis sleeping on a chair beside me. As I tried to speak, suddenly he woke up and called the nurses and doctors.
Within a few minutes, there were three nurses and two doctors in the room I was hospitalized in. They started talking to Louis and told him something I couldn't understand. After some time, everybody left except one nurse and Louis. The nurse started running some tests on me, took samples of my blood, and asked me to answer some of her questions. Since I wasn't able to understand her properly, she injected me with some sort of vaccine or drug that could help me rest and recover fully.
It was night when I woke up and found my parents with Louis. I was happy to see my parents, but Louis was still there. I couldn't understand why he didn't leave. They came closer to me as I gained full consciousness and asked how I was. The first thing that came out of my mouth was, "Why didn't you go home?" to which he replied, "I would not leave until you are okay." My parents said, "He has always been by your side, and he'll never leave. We've known him since his birth and the way he has always treated you."
Well, I'm happy to have such nice parents and a caring friend. It was late, so my mom fed me, and after some time, everybody went to sleep. I tried sleeping, but I couldn't because I had been sleeping for about two days straight. So, I tossed around the bed, thinking about what really happened yesterday at midnight. After thinking a lot, I couldn't come to a conclusion, so I started to think about the trip and whether they went or not. Even if they did, I don't have any problem, but I will really miss the experience and my best friends for sure.
