Chapter 9

His forehead was covered by cold sweat, and he wondered which idiot had offended Greg. This was no different from pushing him into the fire pit!

Luther quickly said, "Mr. Donnie, Ms. Cotton is in Gloria Company. I will contact her and ask her to give the company to you. No matter who offended you, you can deal with them as long as you're pleased."

"No need. Let Brenda come downstairs and sign the contract."

"No problem. I'll contact her right now. Please wait a moment."

Seeing that Greg was talking on the phone seriously, Hertha couldn't help but ask curiously, "Did you really call our president?"

"Yes."

Hertha snorted softly. The president of Gloria Company was Luther Hawk, the wealthiest man in Bianca City. He had companies in various industries, and Gloria Company was just one of them. How could a busy man like him know an ordinary salesperson?

"You're bragging." Hertha crossed her arms and pouted.

Greg shook his head and said, "Whether bragging or not, you'll know later."

Brenda received a call from Luther and learned that someone in Gloria Company had offended Greg.

She instantly knew how serious this matter was.

Brenda took the elevator and hurried downstairs.

Seeing Greg, Brenda immediately strode forward and bowed deeply.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Donnie. I'm late. Please forgive me."

Brenda was wearing a low-cut dress, and Greg saw her chest after she bowed.

He was stunned for a while and slowly looked away.

He cleared his throat and said to Brenda, "It's okay. You don't need to bow."

Brenda also knew what had happened. Her pretty face was stained with a faint blush when she got up.

"Mr. Donnie, this way, please. Let's go upstairs and talk about your contract."

They arrived at the office,Brenda made tea for Greg, and when she bent down to serve it to him, she covered her chest.

"Mr. Donnie, Mr. Hawk asked me to do whatever you say."

"It's not a big deal. I came here to talk about an order. The person in charge of your business department, who seems to be called Mr. Fox, didn't even give me a chance to meet him."

Brenda was a little puzzled. She didn't understand why Greg would come to talk about the order in person. With his identity, he only needed to order.

However, since Greg didn't say anything, she wouldn't ask.

Maybe this kind of big shot had special hobbies.

"I'll call him over now."

Brenda contacted Myron, and he rushed over hurriedly.

Brenda's beauty was well-known in Gloria Company. Many employees and executives fantasized about her, but since she was Luther's secretary, they didn't dare to take action.

Myron felt good about himself and wondered if Brenda was interested in him. After all, the two had never had much contact, including work.

Myron knocked and entered the office while smiling.

"Hello, Ms. Cotton."

Brenda's face was cold, and she slapped the coffee table heavily.

She scolded in a delicate voice.

"Myron, how dare you? You dared to reject Mr. Donnie!"

"What?"

Myron was confused, but he realized that the situation might be severe, so he quickly said, "I'm sorry, Ms. Cotton. I was wrong."

Brenda snorted coldly and said, "Why did you apologize to me? Apologize to Mr. Donnie!"

Myron looked behind her and saw a man who was sipping tea leisurely.

He didn't know Greg, but according to what Brenda had said, he lowered his head and said to the man, "Mr. Donnie, I'm sorry!"

Greg put down his teacup and smiled. "Mr. Fox, you probably don't know who I am, do you? Here's a reminder. Advertising business."

Myron thought for a while, then tentatively asked, "The Hope Company?"

"You're right."

Myron immediately became furious and glared at Greg.

"Mr. Donnie? Bullshit! You're just a salesman!"

"How dare you talk to Mr. Donnie like that! Do you still want your job?"

"Ms. Cotton, I'm telling the truth! Did he lie to you?"

Brenda shouted angrily, "You are too stupid to recognize him! Apologize to Mr. Donnie again!"

Myron was extremely depressed. Why did the salesman of Hope Company become the so-called Mr. Donnie?

"If you don't want to be fired now, just do as I say!"

Myron blushed. He was in his forties and was the head of the business department, but he was bullied by a secretary.

But in order to keep his job, he had to follow Brenda's order.

"Mr. Donnie, I'm sorry. I didn't recognize you."

Greg waved his hand and said, "It's okay."

"Don't do this again. Get out!" Brenda said coldly.

After leaving the office, Myron was so aggrieved that he couldn't help yelling.

"Bastard, you're just a secretary. If it weren't for Luther, I'd torture you in bed."

Myron was cursing as he ran into Lucas when he went downstairs.

Seeing Myron's unhappy face, Lucas asked curiously, "Myron, what's wrong with you?"

The two didn't have much contact with each other.

Lucas asked casually, which made Myron change his mind.

So Myron said that Greg was Brenda's boy toy.

Lucas had also coveted Brenda for a long time.

As soon as Lucas heard that Brenda had a boy toy and even protected him, he was immediately furious. But then, he showed a sinister smile.

Lucas patted Myron on the shoulder and comforted him, "Myron, let me help you vent your anger."

"Thank you, Mr. Brown."

Brenda just signed and stamped the contract.

Greg stretched out his hand. Brenda was slightly taken aback, then shook his hand and said, "Mr. Donnie, it's a pleasure to cooperate with you."

Her hand was slender and soft.

Greg reached out to get the contract, but Brenda misunderstood him.

With a bang, the door was pushed open suddenly, and Lucas walked in.

Seeing this scene, he growled, "Oh, Ms. Cotton. What are the two of you doing while hiding in the office?"

Seeing Lucas, Brenda immediately lost her temper.

This wretched fat man had been harassing her before, and when he failed, he liked to say nonsense to tarnish her reputation.

But she couldn't do anything. After all, Lucas was the vice president of Gloria Company, and he was more powerful than her.

"Mr. Brown, don't say nonsense. I'm signing a contract with Mr. Donnie."

"Mr. Donnie? That must be wrong. I heard that you seem to have a new boy toy."

Lucas smiled and gradually paid attention to the man next to Brenda. After he recognized Greg, he was stunned.

It turned out to be Clara's loser ex-husband.

"It's you. Why are you here?"

Greg didn't want to talk to Lucas, so he turned to Brenda and said, "Okay. I've done my job, and I'll be leaving."

"Okay, Mr. Donnie. I'll see you off."

"Haha, Mr. Donnie? Brenda, have you been deceived by this brat too? He's just a loser!"

Brenda also ignored Lucas.

Unexpectedly, when they reached the door, Lucas strode over and blocked their way with his body.

"Wait a minute, Ms. Cotton. As the company's vice president, I suspect you are abusing your power. I must see his contract before he takes it away."
